- Immediately afte the delivery the training week / handover starts with instructions from the after sales department and from Pochon for the electronics.
And then, after the Tramontana settles, it's time for our first sail on our own boat.....
Look at that ---- The prettiest 55 that Outremer have ever made........

Outremer have turned out get another superb design. Have been following Gunboat as well as Outremer for a long time now. GLY really know where they're going with these marques! Matching the wind speed in light airs means you can sail when others motor! Fantastic! My wee cat can match in light airs too, but if it drops below 4kts, that's into my 'can't be bothered zone'! On goes the engine and auto-helm and it's time for 'refreshments'. 😁
Yesterday it really was like this, we were sailing straight upwind in 3-6 knots as everybody else was motoring

What a great video, you really captured so much! The boat as a whole package seems to be living up to the high expectations you rightfully held from a well respected team like Outremer. The follow up training and hand over must be so helpful and reassuring and the way other owners always share their own special moments with each other is fantastic. Some nice docking BTW…. Your nav station is remarkable, that screen is a thing of beauty for displaying all your data and that Code 0 looked like a translucent butterfly wing! To say GreatCircle has turned out beyond expectations is an understatement 😉

I have enjoyed this video so much! It was so interesting and I learned so much even after a lifetime of sailing. Now it's been 20 years because of health problems but this video is very entertaining also. A great job and have a lifetime of happiness with your new boat!.

Amazing yacht. Fantastic size monitor, great for maps. Sails look brilliant. Window height looks like it provides excellent views of environment whilst seated. Another elite piece of engineering by Outremer.

very nice , I'm not a fan of black sails but I have to admit they look gorgeous , I know that you have a pilots license but flying in formation with the Canadairs at the first day that shows very hi standards from the crew , enjoy .

ziet er goed uit. veel plezier tijdens de wereld rally. trachten zelf naar Cannes te gaan om een Outremer te testen in september. valt overigens niet mee gezien communicatie, op zijn minst, langzaam is te noemen met ze. dat valt wel tegen als potentieel koper.
