- In todays chivalry 2 podcast we talk first about how the developers have finally added an anti cheat in this latest patch. We also were able to try 50 vs 50 team objective in a special event for the soter dave charity stream. This was one of the most epic games of chivalry 2 ever played. We also got to see how chivalry 2's new nitrado servers are total trash for 89.99

The obvious cheaters are one thing, but the cheaters with a slight speed boost to their long swords were the ones I worried about.
I got the game on prime, I played a lot of mordhau so I'm used to getting shit on by 95% of people I encounter, don't get me wrong. I've seen one match where a cheater was called out and I wondered if it would be infinite stamina or just straight up god mode. This makes a lot of sense as to how one guy could outswing my short sword in speed when it's my initiative.

Not sure how much this anticheat really does lol.
I'm really glad that I'm not seeing any hackers on my end so far ever since the hot fix which involved EAC 😊
The anti cheat did nothing it took them 2 days to bypass it and now they can crash players actual game to desktop. Its got worse
Already seen cheaters come back in since update. Some of them had coloured names & everything. When you kick them the server crashes. A GG moment
I was in the 50 v 50 match you put on youtube. It was hell fun, despite having over 200 ping and was surprised I ended up in the vid. Keep up the good work man 👍

I know this isn’t a guide or pvp video but I just gotta say your videos have took me from crawling round on the flaw 50% of the match to confidently winning 1v2s, knowing the mechanics and techniques completely changes how this game feels to play.

I got excited at the mention of Chivalry 3. I know Chiv 2 is still midway through its lifecycle, but do you really think there will be another installment in a couple more years? I don't think TB has announced development on it, but do you think they might have something in the works or plan to make Chiv 3? What kind of improvements or additions would you like to see besides a 50v50 mode?
I think we will see a chiv 3 but probably not for a few years, I expect their next title to flop then they come back to chiv.

I’m still finding a ton of cheaters… they don’t have to be flying around the map. In fact, I don’t give a shit about those guys… there’s 100x that who cheat subtle… those are the ones that kill the game… obviously Amazon or gamepass still has an issue because cheats are still there… a ton of low ranking assholes walking up to you with a maul, highland sword, executioners axe, heavy mace, going twice as fast as a knife… of course there’s a accels… not talking about that… and how the hell did this guy never see cheaters.. I swear that’s some gaslighting shit

@@rkit6707you’re probably talking about the guys who fly around killing 100 dudes a second… at least I hope you are… if you’re not you’re blind as a bat… I honestly don’t even care about that… haha, kick em and move on… I’m talking about the literal thousands of players using subtle hacks, in a not so subtle way.. mainly speed hacking.. it’s the most annoying shit I’ve ever encountered.. right now it’s a ton of low ranking people, usually in the range of 1-100, but I still see them in higher ranks too… it’s undeniable… especially when you fight them, you can see it with your own eyes, it’s obvious as shit… anyone who denies cheaters in this game is either completely blind or they’re doing it themselves and want to carry on this narrative of “yeah bro there’s no cheaters, skill issue… fuckin etc etc”

Take as many fight as you can its experience and that whats matter in chivalry, if you spawn and see that you are outnumber with a non favorable terrain, pick another fight, if you only take easy fight you will never improve so there is a line that needs to be respected for your growth. I used to not understand the game and now im top scorer every game with kattar and shortsword only. Try to not push too far when you are in defense, i think position is key but it take times to understand.
dont get discouraged. there are players that have been playing for years and years.
flank and gank, almost always put yourself in a Xv1 situation. If you have to retreat, retreat. Don’t wander off on your own and also target swap often, don’t get attached to an enemy. Staying alive is more important than getting kills, since you actually contribute and is constantly dishing out damage, especially on defense where spawn timer is like 10 seconds.
Reading the replies about getting better, team object and duels are very different matters. You can focus on dueling skills in standalone servers and just alternate with TO games. In duels it’s a fight about skill. In TO, it’s quite literally about delaying enough time until your one side’s teammate comes to help.

Yo guys this is not true. The cheating problem is NOT solved. It took a week for hackers to bypass EAC. So either EAC is poorly integrated or the way the game is coded is beyond saving. In the EU, you can see hackers again flying, spawning rocks to crash the server or straight initiating server crash via remote restart. There are rumours that these guys have few of unpatched exploits left to use. Torn Banner should not stop tho, but be resilient and continue to patch the security of the game. I am afraid the opposite will happen - it took them ages to implement EAC (which is now bypassed, btw), I don't think they will acknowledge the game requires more anti-cheat work, as sad as it is to say.
easy anti cheat is a joke on chiv 2. theres 3 simple files and you can bypass the software. i still troll those chinese lobbies

I am on my 6th evening of playing Chivalry 2. The first 4 evenings I was absolutely horrendously terrible at it. On evening 5 and 6 im just very badly terrible which is an improvement 😂. Seriously though even though i'm not very good it's still enjoyable im trying to watch tutorials and try put them into action on the game(not always successfully) and hopefully keep improving.
If u want some advice id say dont really watch tutorials for any game until ur atleast intermidiate. The guys using advance techniques are playing against advanced players so trying to use them on low lvls wont really work cuz your fighting guys that just spam slash early on. What helped me was focusing on base mechanics like the movement and counters/dodging also if u play first person focus on the arms of ur opponents and you will always know what they are gonna throw even if they switch up or spin around
