Why do you think great sword is so popular?
Long range + can float forever in the air during drags + hits like a truck
I would say vanguard combos pretty well with greatsword. Using it with knight doesn’t unleash the full potential of this weapon, for example
1- it's versatile, it has good damage and range for all attack types (slash, stab and overhead)
2- it can be used on Vanguard and Knight

It’s range, damage, and swing manipulation with good drags are amazing best 2handed sword IMO
Irrelevant to the context of the video but a fun fact about greatswords, like the Zweihander: It was incredibly light and versatile, to be spun around with various techniques and mainly used to fend off against spears and polearm wielders! It's not as heavy as movies or fantasy games make them out to be! On average they weighed 6 lbs. But I personally enjoy the appeal that most people do of how heavy hitting it is!

The alternative riposte overhead is extremely fast and i catch people off guard with it most of the time so it's pretty good

I just recently got hip to using the greatsword with my knights and I gotta say, yep. It’s sick. I was using the longsword with mace secondary. Throwing knives as well. Now I’m rocking greatsword with short short secondary and throwing knives. I’m liking that loadout a lot more. Greatsword feels great

I used to run that but the game just got so boring feels like easy mode
that’s pretty much what I started with last year. I had no idea it was OP until I saw people talking about it. Then I switched to rocking greatswords and I’ve been having a blast tbh

The greatsword is my go to for large groups I much prefer it over the messer
Another thing the greatsword is great at is crowd control in 64 man. You can back groups up in team fights with well timed heavy slashes.
I find the most value at the o.Gsword within defense. We all know that offense gets to pound the defense like Iporn girl. lol. So, I use it like a line breaker suicide weapon with the hopes my other team mates with follow me into hell and hit their front lines who will without a doubt turn their back to the front line as I counter my way into the second level of their lines. most of the time my team dont do anything and I either get ganged on or I ended up damaging alot of them and they slow that forceful push forward. If I had a team mate i could talk to this would work really good for those who actually wish to win the defensive TO.
I never look at my stamina. Shouldn’t have to if your always countering. Great sword is love great sword is life
I am lvl 183 with it, I don't particularly love it but yes, for me top 5/6 meta and quite the ceiling, did a lot of very nice and sometimes imo incredible things with it :) but thank you for your video, I shall play it more since it is as you justified, a role model (clean animations +++)

I just started playing..In duel's..there is some kinda cutlass that just wrecks me.. It's like blocking doesn't work against it..Cool weapon but I hate it when someone uses it on me.

I recently came back to playing the game. Why did they add greatsword to the officer class? Greatsword should be exclusive for the vanguard class
