I lived on Pohnpei for a year while serving in the US Navy. That island is amazing!!! You need more then two days to see the island and culture!!! I so want to move my family there!!!!

So I can relate to you a bit. When I travel I go relatively fast and I get the same remarks, people always ask me, why do you go so fast and I usually respond. My goal is not to see or do everything but to catch a good glimpse of the world and of humanity. To see the big picture and just the thrill of having gone everywhere. later in life I will slow down and then choose where I want to visit more and see more. I have to say I am able o see alot in a 24 hour period sometimes. Alot of things you say I relate too such as the hardship of travel, the cost the demands and sacrifice. and yes it is hard to find people to relate, I feel like I have a world of experiences inside of me that my friends cannot relate too.I have been all over north, central and south america, and all of Asia. This summer I will go to Europe, Nepal Tibet region, Gulf region, Korea, Philippines and some of Oceania all in 3 months. I saw you on my Facebook page recommended by a friend and then when looking up about Micronesia stumbled across you tonight again. so kool coincidence. Anyway Congrats on your achievement and happy trails. My own goal is also to go to every single country on earth. cheers.

Everyone has a different travel style, and I respect yours, but someday, try a single trip in a single place. Again, this is not a criticism as everyone is different, but try that...and maybe I'll try your style.
Perhaps you have no idea that I went to college in Costa Rica and Nicaragua for one year? Did you also not know that I volunteered for USAID in Rurrenabaque, Bolivia for 3 months? Maybe you didn't know that prior to this entire Expedition (of which, I'm assuming, you've only seen this video only), that I lived in 9 different countries and traveled to 25 over the course of 6 years since the age of 18 before this Expedition even came into my train of thought?
A lesson. Before you criticize or degrade how someone chooses to live their life, including through travel, do your research first. Until then, uneducated feedback is embarrassing. Perhaps you try to live in 9 countries around the world, travel to 25, AND THEN.... spent 1.5 years planning travels to 196 countries. AND THEN... try to survive naked in the jungle in Panama for 21 days. AND THEN... race 5 half Ironman races AND FINALLY... race a full Ironman... ALL BEFORE THE AGE OF 30.
The people of this world online, I swear, make this world hopeless. While I understand that you're basing your comment off of likely just seeing this one video, before you make such an uneducated comment on who I am and how I travel please, for the sake of yourself, myself, and everyone in this world, DO YOUR RESEARCH.
I'm not coming at you with criticism and I really liked the video...you share some amazing sights. I'm sincere when I say I would love to try the "whirlwind tour" someday. I really would.
You never said you "would love to try the 'whirlwind tour'", you said. "...someday, try a single trip in a single place."... Have you changed your mind with your point that you're trying to convey to me?
That was lazy use of language on my part. I understand you must have been barraged with a lot of negative comments, but I was not trying to add to the pile and it's hard to convey tone in text form to a stranger. Anyway, thanks for sharing this, you saw some beautiful stuff and shared it with us. Many more happy travels to you in the future and all trips, no matter the time constraints, are a beautiful thing.
