    In tier 3 he has skill that increase range and damage of skill that also get him to 2 tile range melee. Very cool.

      Is this confirmed? Lightning Strike simply says "melee" and have no listed range. Is it the same thing for Force Cleave?

    The bigest issue I have with the heroes in this game is that there are many great candidates and only 4 hero slots on a mission. The game would've gained much if they rebalanced it for 5 (+1) instead of 4 (+1). Given that you usually want to have someone with perception and someone with spellcraft, four leaves to little space for experimentation. Otherwise I absolutely enjoy the game on highest difficulty.

    I play him as an off-tank instead of my Balan sometimes. He is surprisingly durable with all the armor+shields. And he can annihilate all the squishy archers and spellcasters

    He seems pretty solid. Though lack of AoE before tier 3, he joins pretty late, so tier 3 is not far away. The main lack to me, is the cooldown reduction of other mages. Generally, an assassin trading stealth with ice shields and backstab buff with AoE damage.

      Yup it's a trade off but he definitely has an interesting mix.

    I play him as a highly mobile/stealthy champion. I never bothered with the hexes and never regretted for one second :)

    Sir Geraint has ice shield too!
    Watching this bc I was trying to see last night if I should get Faerie Knight. I ended up doing so. Excited to play a mission with him later

      Awesome let me know what you think of him.

      Going very well so far, I went with the medium armor since I currently don't have any particularly amazing light armor rn 😭 but with some tankier medium armor and the magic armor (plus magic armor ring on Mordred to cast on faerie knight immediately after his own runs out) made him a great off tank (and more!) in the 3rd sir tewelyn mission and the first deepwood mission so far

    Very cool character kit!
    Right now the only thing keeping me from picking this game up is the price.
    I don't get why NeoCore feels that Inquisitor Martyr and Knight's Tale should cost more than $40, but I can wait for a sale to get it at the price that games like this should cost 🙂
    My one criticism for this kit is the AP cost for Force Bolt.
    Considering that it isn't really a high damage skill and mainly has the utility to potentially knockback multiple enemies or get rid of those multilayered shields, 6 AP seems very pricey.
    Even doing some cheeky nonsense where you knockback enemies into traps to potentially recover up to 3 AP doesn't really seem like a good use of that AP compared to those other options they have available.
    It would be a fantastic skill at 4 or less AP.

      I considered that as well and I think it's because you can split it in three. This allows you to wipe enemy buffs that nullify hits or potentially kill three damaged enemies. Due to the versatility they make you pay more.

    Dodge is amazing on Very Hard. Probably really good on other difficulties too.

    Nice. Can you do a video about the hero that you can recruit? I don't know the name exactly but it was the last boss you fight in the first mission, and you fight 2 other times and a last time on the bridge of sorrows and you can recruit it at your round table?

    • @SlanderedGaming
      @SlanderedGaming  Před 2 lety +1

      You are referring to Sir Telewyn? He actually never joins the Round Table even after the third time you fight him.

    • @bogantofan2420
      @bogantofan2420 Před 2 lety

      @@SlanderedGaming Yes him. I didn't reach at that point. But saw another streamer that you can get him(make him join you) at the end of his quest chain when you defeat him at the bridge of sorrows. I don't know if it is just fluff and some loyalty hit to Balan or he really joins for real. You need to promise to give him the Bridge of Sorrows.

    • @SlanderedGaming
      @SlanderedGaming  Před 2 lety +1

      @@bogantofan2420 Nope. Not sure if it is a bug but even if you give him the Bridge he doesn't join as a playable character. This link lists all the consequences for your choices in the game. The Act III section has "Talking with Sir Telewyn" and you can read he doesn't join: www.gamersheroes.com/game-guides/king-arthur-knights-tale-choices-consequences-guide/

      @@SlanderedGaming Another question. Can you take a hero from your roster and replace it with another hero from the aspiring heroes, without firing them? Just switching the hero from the roster with one from the aspiring heroes list?

    • @SlanderedGaming
      @SlanderedGaming  Před 2 lety +1

      @@bogantofan2420 You cannot switch heroes. If you have an empty slot on your Round Table list an aspirant hero can be placed there. Otherwise you have to dismiss one of your current heroes. I detail this system in my review of the game in the dislike section: czcams.com/video/-C_q-1ZsAio/video.html

    is it okay to let my characters die? i know i cant resurrect them unless i have a tome.. but id prolly let him die. everyother character i have has been been around since day 1.. i was thinking of letting go of sir balan or sir kay, or maybe sir balin. but i dont want to seperate the brothers

    • @SlanderedGaming
      @SlanderedGaming  Před rokem

      I recommend having a backup team so that you can swap out main characters when needed. Anybody who is not on your backup team and isn't filling titles for your Round Table can get the boot.
