You could literally hear the crowd sing along the HOLA MI BEBEBEBE and I loved it! This is my absolute fave this year. I want to dance, hear the culrural influenced music, feel like on vacation with him. I love Romanian entry this year so much!

I was terrified Serbia wouldn't qualify, but after what Konstrakta did to the crowd in the arena, I *knew* she would make it to the finals. She has the Eurovision crowd and I would not be surprised if In Corpore Sano wins the televote.
Me I would have been happy if Serbia wasn't announced as the final qualifier right at the end.

@@nielsrazenberg9104 Ukraine can definitely compete against Serbia in the televote, but not by the strength of their song. Moldova... Not sure. I don't see Sweden competing for a televote win at all. Sure, the song's great, but it doesn't rally people like In Corpore Sano does.
@@Firellius I can see your point there, getting the crowd on your side is the most important after all. It makes the performance more powerfull, especially when you're watching on television. But the audience this year sings/claps/dances along with a lot of performances to be honest. Ukraine will win with probably a lot of televotes. You are either with Serbia or, like me, totally against. I think almost everyone likes Moldova with their polkapop. When you combine the jury's and the televotes, countries as Sweden, UK, maybe Greece, will have the biggest chances of winning imo.
@@nielsrazenberg9104 As divisive as Serbia's entry can be, I think it is a bigger hit with the public than Trenuletul, though. Her performance was posted on CZcams a little over half a day ago now, versus Trenuletul's 2.5 days, and she's only about 100-200K views behind, and over 20K likes ahead. Yes, the audience is involved, but the clapping echoing through the hall as the entire audience is going wild is unprecedented. The jury reception is a loose cannon, but I honestly think that Serbia has a real shot at winning this year, and I honestly hope it does. It certainly deserves to.
8/10 got right again. Ireland absolutely deserved to qualify, Brooke was fantastic and had my votes. Sad for Cyprus too (they were my favourites for a while) yet I didn’t feel the vocal performance was convincing. Soo happy for Czech Republic, Estonia, Romania and Serbia (lol half of Europe fainted leaving them for last), i was afraid one of them would miss out and they were all fantastic tonight. Obviously Sweden and Poland were great, no way they would miss out, and same for Australia though that might have been more Jury oriented (my guess).

So happy for my favourites in the 2nd semi-final: Romania, Estonia and Poland! Excellent done! Even if it doesn't have a chance to win the grand prize, for sure Romania's song will be the most sung on the whole planet this year. Best wishes from Canada!!!
I screamed the loudest when Romania was called. I think it was a creeper guilty pleasure song for many. The crowd singing along with the chorus was so much fun!
And the whole performance was great. Shocked about Belgium but the rest i was OK with.
I agree! Belgium's vocals sounded a bit forced to me, his performance was not fluid, but I guess he qualified because there's no other upbeat R&B song this year, so that means less comparisons and less competition.

I'm still shocked that Ireland didn't qualify, Brooke gave so much in her performance and really deserved to make the final
I understand why you tell This and I like Ireland but if I could tell, my theory is That first of all:
- Juries killed her
- Sadly, even if the song is good, I don't think it was really outstanding and so, like in 2021 for example, they were probably like 10th or 11th in term of average ranking but got probably among the last in term of points because they got few points by a few country
I am overjoyed to be the representative of my country (Serbia) in the finals.
Congratulations to all those who qualified for the finals, so that no one gets angry but a little more happy for our Romanian neighbors as well.
I would like Montenegro and Macedonia to pass, as well as Ireland and Cyprus.

Brooke got the second loudest applause after Sweden, her performance was stellar. The song came ALIVE, she looked sounded and performed like an international STAR. I’m genuinely baffled. I never feel bad about Ireland not qualifying, because usually they do not deserve it, but Brooke deserved it and then some. I don’t understand what else ireland had to do. We love you Brooke 💚💚

I actually liked his performance (it was my number 3 of the night) but I can understand why it did not go through. Most people (and of course the juries) might have seen his performance as too over-the-top, highly sexual, and he indeed sometimes sounded off pitch and like not caring to much about his performance (although I think it is part of it, part of his attitude). The only thing I would actually strip off his performance were the moans, they were really unnecessary and quite distracting imo.

Romania qualifying and Israel not qualifying is the top example that being annoying and an attention seeker everywhere you go will put people off, no matter how good your vocals are. I hope Michael will learn a lesson after this week.

That's rights. Guy from Izrael was too annoying. His song, his behavior during the show, it was too much for me when he came to hosts and try to grab attention.

My uni friend group had a ESC party for this semi. Only guy, who actually doesn't like Eurovision, really liked that song. Honestly, after Serbia, it was my favourite.

@@beam_cd he showed up when the commentators were talking, waved his flag in between them, kissed them (which definitely wasn’t planned so I take the most issue with that…) and I think he even talked to them while they were trying to continue the show…

So sad for Cyprus....She was very nervous and it was obvious, her vocals were bad...But still, she deserved a place in final. Her song was standing out in this year's esc. It was the only ethnic pop song.
Cyprus song is boring, sounds like a bad mix of former Greece entries. And her vocals was really poor. And maybe she could have tried to look like she was enjoying being on the stage.
@@catokoch The song is not bad at all and it sounds nothing like former Greek entries and if it does then those entries were long ago + majority of the songs this year sound the same to me and Cyprus stood out among them, as for the performance I think she was just nervous and the staging didn't help
The moment that Cinan realized that someone is gonna be out, right after Australia passed, it was the moment I realized Cyprus (my country) was out. I am so upset to be honest... I really thought we had a different song this year... But I have to agree after a certain point during the rehearsals she got so stressed and she couldnt get her vocals to 100%. Cinan, thank you so much for your love this year! ZISE AND ELA TO CYPRUS! Better Greece be in Top 5... I cant go through another heart attack.

I liked the simplicity and the ethnic vibe of the song. It's beautiful and the parts sung in Greek hit me deep....not a fan of changing in to English. But I really feel the vocals have to be top notch for a song like this and the staging did't uplift the song either.

I love cyprus song but I couldn´t see it go through after hearing her voice. I think she must have problems with her voice. Ireland and Georgia, I felt is hard to see a jury support. After seeing Romania live it felt imposible for them to miss. It was way better than in their national final. Azerbadjain I think the jury helped a lot. I think San Marinos did it much better here than in their national final. But still It feels good that taking sommuch insperation from Måneskin doesn´t help them. It didn´t feel original for me. More of a copy and paste and add some stuff.
I agree with you in everything until you mention Måneskin. If there is someone that taking so much inspiration from some one, that must be Måneskin taking inspiration from Achille Lauro. Lauro started his career years before Måneskin and he has had his style ever since. Not trying to take Måneskin down but they are not more original than Lauro and clearly they have a lot of luck on their side.

I loved Cyprus but her voice was so off, it makes sense it didn't qualify.
what more does ireland need to do? seriously ? Belgium did the bare minimum and Brooke worked ten times as hard on stage. I genuinely was so confident ireland were qualifying i’m absolutely gutted. These results when they are released will have a lot to answer for

I’m from Belgium and we just had a 30min documentary before the semi about Jérémie. Don’t say he didn’t work hard if you don’t know... That said I also loved Brooke and she definitely deserved to go through.
Brooke's song would be a great fit for the Junior Eurovision. She better try her chances there next year

I knew Israel wouldn't make it through when he wouldn't get out of the shot with the judges as they were trying to throw to something like letting the vote begin, while he was there just waving his little flag and wouldn't leave. He was forcing himself into the public eye into a place where he shouldn't be. He already had a good performance. Anyway I'm satisfied with most if this. I wasn't too thrilled with Belgium (this vocal on the backing track has to go), but I loved Brooke. Sheldon is not my thing but I can see why it went through. It's very self-affirming, so I do have a soft spot for it. I also thought Montenegro sounded the best I had ever heard her and it's a shame she's not going through. The Rasmus is perforning in the first half of the final so I hope they close it out before the 2nd half starts.

Without a doubt two things in combination takes you to the final: good vocals and a good song.
Those who made it all sang very well.
Yes, no room for shaky vocals or a so-so song anymore.....as it should be.
Not sure the lesson is ‘don’t be sexy’ it’s probably more don’t be unnecessarily raunchy without vocals or a quality song to back it up. Less hip thrust, more vocal warm up.

I started crying after those results. I am not joking. I started crying. San Marino hurted me the most. But also Ireland and Cyprus. And surprisingly I loved Israel.

1. Israel - it wasn‘t authentic and the music seemed to be a little bit like playground music
2. Cyprus - her voice was so weak, we didn‘t understand a single word during her performance
3. San Marino - same as Cyprus - they tried to elevate us but ended nowhere somehow
So happy with these qualifiers but sad for Cyprus and Ireland. First time since 2013 Cyprus hasn't qualified!
