They played this the whole tour! Highlight of every night for me! That was the last great tour 2003!!!
I saw them in Montreal in 2003 and I don’t remember them playing it here. I think I would have remembered as I’ve been a fan since 1967 and seen them 5 times I knew they’d played this live but didn’t know it was on the 2003 tour.
Been to about 10 RS shows but I would KILL to see a theatre show!!
I also would LOVE ❤️ to see them in a club or some kind of small venue!!

Re: Smaller theater concert, I agree, and I would even take it further, like putting Mick in a Broadway show, even though it's pretty late. I was thinking of MJ doing Rex Harrison's role in My Fair Lady, or reading the "My Boy Bill" solo for Carousel .

For those of you who spilled their bile in agony because of this cover, yes it is unexpected. But what the heck, Mick had always loved American R&B music. And this more like a tribute, no intention to surpass the original! The O'Jays will never cover "Brown Sugar" as good as the original, and same for the Stones covering soul music. Just have fun and enjoy!!!!

especially Philly Soul, like the Spinners, O'Jays & DelPhonics. As noted, this was "different" from the style of Blues I usually associate Stones with. He sang it with so much conviction, I was wondering what crisis he may have been responding to, back then? We could use a dose of this now!
