Listed to the studio cut of Angie from verse to verse just when you think he'd come in with the same thing, hell paus or do a two or four beat roll of hit a symbol or high hat. Keith Richards said laughingly in an interview that Charlie had the smallest drum set in the world but he got a lot out of it. On a technical standpoint he wasn't Keith Moon, Ginger Baker, John Bonham or Mitch Mitchell. but Charlie was right up there with them. 👹🍀☘Happy Saint Patrick's Day !

Luv this tune! Emotional Rescue has always been one of my top 5 Stones albums. Never got the recognition it deserves. The bass-line, drumming and over-all feel of this track makes it a winner!

Exceptional live rendition to this masterpiece of disco-funk music!
When this first came out I was still buried in the blues of Some Girls... didn't really appreciate it until one night in Rome I was totally baked and put this on... and I listened to what Ronnie and Keith were tossing back and forth over THAT RHYTHM SECTION and was totally blown away....
'Emotional Rescue' is one of their best albums. I love it more and more with each listen. I'm always hearing new things in it that I never noticed before. You just have to open your mind up to it.

One of the few songs that Ronnie Wood actually gets credited for, having come up with the original riff, which Mick instantly started groovin' to. Possibly one of their most under-rated tracks where many are over-rated.

The stones keep coming up with some fire 🔥 ass tunes. Mick and the boys are always making creative ideas for their lyrics and songwriting 🎉🎉. Keith and Mick,Ronnie, and Charlie are the whole entire package, and they radiate excellence and just pure genius
I watched them do this Live. The only problem was there wasn't enough for everyone to dance. Definitely got the crowd into Something new ❗
