Thanks for this video! Rotala Rotundifolia has so many varieties it's amazing how many different looks you can get in a tank!

Mine only turns pink at the top couple inches, but I love the combo of green and pink! Very easy plant, even grows under low light and no ferts for me. I use it everywhere I can now, only bought it once lol.

It will only grow red lower in the tank if your light is more powerful. I've heard you need a light that can produce 100 par at the desired depth.

I'm so glad I found your channel! Ive owned aquariums for about a year and have struggled a lot with plants and my aquascaping and so on. Rookie stuff you could say. In all three of my tanks I have the same plants with no really rhyme or reason. Recently I've wanted to change and have been looking for some plants. Finding all of your aquarium related videos was a god send. And you make me chuckle!! Thanks so so much and happy fishing 😁

I bought those same scissors about a month ago. They are pretty nice. I still have a long set for getting to deep hard to get to places and a tiny spring loaded set for micro trimming. But those double curved cover 80%of my trimming

Definitely a favorite plant of mine. Great for beginners. I bought 2 bunches and it has now been propagated into all 5 of my aquariums.

I love these plants species videos, im trying to make a tank with all the plant species I can using just sunlight from a east window, no artificial light, so I have to be careful with the position and shadow of all plants, and your videos help me a lot. Now I have 1 year with this tank and "the high difficult plants" are doing perfect. Greetings from México! 🇲🇽

After work today I'll be adding some Rotala Blood Red and Rotala Rotundifolia Red to an area I recently (2 weeks ago) planted some Rotala Rotundifolia Orange Juice to. I'm hoping to get a nice spill of plants (and color) around a dragon stone rock formation with these three versions. I've got nice good growth on the OJ already, but not yet any color. I'm thinking I'll need to increase lighting intensity. It's a new tank and just now getting over the brown diatom stage.
