Planning a Motorhome Trip to Croatia

Later on this year (2022) we are travelling to Croatia in our 2021 Mobilvetta K-Yacht 79 motorhome. We are travelling through France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Italy, Slovenia and Croatia and stopping off en route at some places we've always wanted to see such as Lake Garda and Venice.
Here's a look at some of the planning we've been doing.

We are on our fourth trip to Croatia. We start from mid Sweden 2 400 km. we make three night stops on the way down. We only use free sleepovers travelling up and down. Last year we took a boat trip from Croatia to Venice. I can’t recommend Venice. Very expensive, not worth it and very unfriendly.
hi all that looks like a very exciting trip ,,the main thing to be aware of in both germany but more so austria are the very strict privacy laws regarding dash cam footage and also go pro footage ,,,enjoy the trip

We've done the Croatia round trip 4 times now, along with South of France and Scotland. We don't have a campervan, just a tent. The first time we did the Croatia trip was in 2015. We had more of a plan and a mix of camping and accommodation booked. We've refined it over the years. First was just a basic tent, second was a pop tent that took about a minute to erect. Now we have two tents, the pop tent for speed and nestling into little pitches and an inflatable black out tent for longer stays.
Great info, thanks guys. We are doing a very similar trip in May this year for three months, It has been driving me nuts about clean air zones and tolls roads. We have the crit and German stickers and are registered in Belgium, so We are thinking of trying to avoid any other CAZ and all toll roads and motorways, but still not sure if we can avoid having to get any other vignettes.
