SALZBURG to SLOVENIA...the next leg of our Motorhome Tour

- Days 5-8 of our 45 day Motorhome Tour. We leave Austria and head to Paradise, the Soca valley in Slovenia. With its emerald green waters and mountain backdrops this area of Slovenia was a feast for the eyes. Our adventures include a hike along the Soca river and a rafting experience before heading further south to the Postojna Caves. The cave was on a scale we'd not even come close to seeing before, it was colossal and full of Stalactites and Stalagmites. Oh and did we mention Slovenia's biggest waterfall that is the Boka Waterfall that we happened across as we drive south.
Later in this action packed Motorhome Tour series we will be sharing adventures from Croatia, Italy and Switzerland.

That’s great 😃 and it’s the same time we went last year, the campsite we stayed at in Slovinia was surprisingly almost full as first week of September was a German holiday! Also if you want to go to lake Bled you’ll need to book, we couldn’t get in😀 cheers…Andy&Michelle

Looks great. Be careful with that cold water, can keep on chilling you to the core. Share Michelles body warmth I say!
Michelle was having non of it!! 🤣 I had 3 dips of about 30 seconds each and my body was still cold over an hour later. Luckily they have great hot showers on the site, one of the most satisfying showers ever! 🥶😄 Cheers...Andy&Michelle
Went to the caves when they were still in Yougosalvia in the early 70's. Fantastic place as is the lake at Bled
We guess outside has changed a fair bit since back in the 70's, We didn't get to Lake Bled, the campsite was full but we will in the future, so much to see there😀 cheers...Andy&Michelle

We have been looking forward to this one. Great to see Michelle behind the wheel 😊 the water in that river was truly mesmerising 😍 I used to do that magic rucksack trick to get into the library at university 😂 what was the random “David” about from Andy? Love the train in the cave - that’s my way to explore. Great video 😍
Thanks 😊 The water was so clear it was impossible to judge the depth, so so beautiful - but Very cold! The "David" was a reference to David Bellamy - (ask Claire!) 😀 Before the train many years ago the cave tour took a whole day to walk it , would have liked that too😀 Cheers...Andy&Michelle

Looks great. Wife and I just spent 2 weeks in Germany and Austria, trying to decide on our next trip. One idea is a week in Italy and then driving to Slovenia for second week
We've just come back from a few weeks in Germany and Austria and had a great time, Hallstatt being our favourite for all the activities there. Slovinia is lovely, we wanted to go to Lake Bled as well but couldn't get into the sites so if that's on you list for Slovinia you'd need to book early😀 We also had a great time in Italy at Arco , Corvara and Cortina😀 cheers...Andy&Michelle
Hi you two! Sorry haven't been around much, mum's been very ill on and off these last 12 months & she had a fall a couple of weeks ago and she then went delirious with an infection and we thought that was it! We didn't expect her to last the weekend but she's still with us, just! They took her to Hereford hospital so you can imagine!! Trying to catch up a bit! Really enjoyed this video!! Beautiful place to visit, would like to go myself one of the days! Campshite?!! Ha! Not going to the NEC this time because of mum, had a ticket for 23rd Feb but decided not to go. Had a fall myself! The caves at Postojna look a bit different now from when we visited, mind you it was the 80s and still part of Yugoslavia lol great vlog you two.... Dunk fae Oot n aboot wi us 🏴

Great video guys and Slovenia looked amazing and what a great site having access straight onto that beautiful river. Shame about the weather but looks like you made the most of it. White water rafting is not for me but Hubby was definitely up for it and said if he did it I’d have too 😂 Looked way too cold 🥶 Those caves and train ride were such a cool thing to do. The Soca valley is beautiful! I went to a festival in Tolmin in 2017 and definitely need to return ❤️

A beautiful tour. Glad to see the annex(garage) sorted you out. The low water level rafting certainly gives you a lot to glance off. Not much give as they have been there for thousands of years...

Fantastic adventure and beautiful done, what was there air temperature when you went for your dip, a hot tub would have been nice after you slash, the rafting experience looked great 🏔🏔🚶🏻🚶♀️🌊🌊🚣🏻🏊🏼♂️🍻
Thanks Geoff 😀 the air temperature was good, around 22c. The water was so cold, it took about 3 hours to get my body temperature back to normal but it did feel amazing, Cheers...Andy&Michelle
