- After the amazing sights of Venice we headed for our first Croatian stop. We wanted to see Plitivice Lakes National Park as we had heard a lot about this incredible place. We looked for a site close to the park entrances so we didn't have to uproot the vans again to get to the visitor entrances. This site was perfect for that (Camping Plitvice - see link below!) as they had a 'concierge' service that supplied a lift to one of the two start points of Plitivice Lakes Park (Links below) and then a pick up when you were ready and finished at the park - a really excellent service. The cost of that was probably offset by not having to pay to park our vans!!
It was the most we paid for a campsite on the whole trip but worth the extra :)

I'll see if I can find out DS - I use Epidemic Sound on a subscription and do like their offerings - I just can't remember that particular track info. A bit Game of Thrones style wasn't it and a great 'epic' style track ! :) Many thanks for watching and really glad you enjoyed the series - it was a fabulous trip - I'd take longer next time :))
In your first 4 episodes you showed maps and timings of journey but after Lake Garda you stopped. I am considering doing this journey this year and maps and timings are informative and useful

I am going to do a summary film at the end - of costs and routes etc, after a few requests, so that's not far away now as we've only got one more to go after this mornings release at 10am. Watch out for that and it should fill the gaps I hope :))

Would enjoy your vidoe's if you wer'nt looking at the camera so much and turn up the recording volume when travelling, cannot unrstand what your saying, OK
