he's not coming back not sure how your comment has almost 30 likes but I am like 95% sure it has something to do with contracts. Trav wants to be apart of a podcast network which is really unnecessary but oh well.

If you watch Trav's latest vlog he explains that he initially declined this network deal because Dave couldn't continue if he took it and Dave is the one that said if Trav didn't take it he wouldn't continue. Dave stepped aside in order to let Trav have a better income and opportunity.
Dave got burned by LGBTQ folks who didn't like a comment he made. In liberal Canada, guess who got cancelled? Anyway, Dave came back with a lawsuit against his then employer and won. Anyway, this podcast's employer didn't want the stigma related to him and opening themselves up to future cancel culture activities by LGBTQ folks.

Trav, I was a fan and followed you with interest until you said depression is a mind set. I have lived the challenge of mental health for 50 years. It is an illness and is no more a mindset than cancer is. Please educate yourself.

You can get a passport in 24h in canada
Yep, learned that the hard way a few years ago. Had a flight at 6pm and realized at 9am I didn't have my passport (totally my fault). Managed to get the form done, the references were called, and they printed the new passport at like 3:30pm same day. Cost me $400+ but it's possible. One of the most embarrassing moments of my life lol, have my passport in a little safe now.
Yeh he’s full of it. You can hit the passport office downtown and have it in 24hrs. Done it myself.
Learnt that the hard way
I don't live too far from Harrington Delaware. Never went to a Thunder game until Trav came with Motor City and my son and I attended. Trav did not play but was on Bench. We had a good time. My son brought Trav a Pepsi and Trav skated over and got it from him. After the game my son got to meet Trav, get a photo, and Trav put the footage in one of his blogs. Was definitely a good interactive experience and would go see Trav again if in the area.
I think teams definitely benefit when they have a player like Trav or Diamond Hands.

Watched Amesbury absolutely lay some beatdowns on some members of the SPHL team i worked for. Absolutely great guy off the ice, as is common with the guys. He signed with Ft Wayne earlier this week.

Trav, been following you for a long time on old and new channels of mine. I do marketing for a junior hockey team in ontario and I would recommend to you if you want to keep your hockey career going. Stay in the minor league teams and don’t be ashamed of being the backup goalie. Even if it’s on the dead last place team. Let the ego aside and embrace your final years of hockey. Make good relationships and start learning the process of behind the scenes hockey. You’re a marketing genius in my opinion and I truly believe you could own/run a junior or semi professional team in the future. Hope this makes sense

I played pro hockey in Ukraine for five years while having a government job there.. while also being a subscriber here.
Ukraine hockey itself was a little weird but the culture was siiick, lived like a king had fans dated probably 15 girls while there, gorgeous Ukrainian women everywhere and they all want to be your friend

@slanginthebizkitpodcast As great of a guy Amesbury seems to be and what not, you can't really think the Fed suspended indefinitely because of making social media content right....? They don't want to be associated with his reputation as I imagine the majority of teams/leagues won't. I'm definitely not hating on the guy, I grew up playing through the mid 90s early 2000s when you needed someone watching your back. So I have nothing but respect for him, but with the direction hockey is going now no one wants to be associated with image.
Diamond hands wud have been good publicity for the league. Shud have kept him in the league

day of the goon is over and should be over today's players are far too fast and strong to be doing late blind side hospital hits late hits on players not suspecting hits like that the way hockey does this is getting players that do this out of the leagues. BTW players know when they have a players in a vulnerable position IE head turned the other way or along the wall... RIP goons..... I am not saying no checking no fighting in hockey I saying get the players that are looking to injure players via late or blind side hits. As a player, coach and father of players we all know who those players are that are looking to hurt the opponent, no more Dennis Savard, Eric Lindros hits just think of what we missed out on from dirty play.

It's great seeing Trav pivot to the new studio and new guest host. Rob who like me hails from the great state of New York (he Buffalonian me an Albanian lol) is a great addition to the show. Dave is a great guy and Trav is grateful for all Dave has done to help him. The heart of the show and the content hasn't changed so to me all is good! Keep up the good work Trav, and now Rob 👍.

ps- unpopular opinion- I like Rob more than Wheeler for this pod.... Dave is outstanding no question, but he is a pro radio voice. Rob is a hockey guy and former pro, I feel the pod is more balance with Rob. Love it guys keep up the great work!
