My dad moved to Saskatoon for a job for a few months he didn’t even stay two days because he got stabbed in robbed on his first day there, so saying Saskatoon is the cleanest city is total drizzling shits yeah there’s not as much garbage but there’s 10 times more crime

I have lived in Toronto and Vancouver. I feel Vancouver is not as friendly as Toronto. In Toronto, it's easy to find your place/people, not so much in Vancouver.

This is a city thing - especially cities with a high transient population. I've lived in Vancouver for almost 30 years and yeah, he isn't lying. However, like anything in life, if you don't like it initiate something different. Just say hi to folks and have no investment in them saying hi back.

I have tested this on the Skytrain where I’ve said hello to 10 different people, male or female! Most of the men will say hi! Women look at me like I’m a f******creep. I have a very conservative gentleman appearance. I even offered a woman a chocolate one day she said I don’t know?. I said the one I’m gonna give you I will eat it so it poisons me first. ! She actually laughed and engaged in a conversation because of a simple thing that she was being betrayed by a piece of chocolate !! Overall, I find the women kind of stuck up kind of sad !! Even the good-looking younger men had a hard time getting a hello whatever woman!! I’ve heard that beautiful women go home alone!! There must be a lot of loneliness at night with these beautiful women !!

Hey man, Skinner might not be elite (he might not even be that good) but like good god damn he is in the Stanley Cup Finals and he’s not an insignificant part of why that happened. If he could bottle up and regularly give the way he played in some of these playoff games (games 5&6 vs DAL, game 6 vs VAN, games 3&4 vs LAK) then he might be worthy of further the discussion. But thus far, inconsistencies is his downfall.

It’s funny how quickly this whole conversation turned around in the last 3 Edmonton games. It’s like y’all forget goalies go through streaks. People seem to forget Skinner went on a 13 game win streak this season where he was 0.960SV%. And did that a couple times. Imagine if people came at Hellebuyck the way they did Skinner…..lol. It’s like they forget Stu’s still only 25yo. A lot of goalies haven’t even played 10 NHL games by that age. How about his 0.950SV% in game 5 or his 0.971SV% in game 6 lol??? Anyone else want to talk about that? What people aren’t seeing is that this is a true TEAM. They’ve literally won games in every which way at this point. Can’t say the same for most other teams in the playoffs, they rely too heavily on single aspects of their games. I’m gonna love when people reply as if the only reason they’re in the finals is because of Mcdavid and Draisaitl. All while leaving out the fact 90% of their team has had a game where their individualistic efforts bought them the win. Name a player, and I’ll name the game. I also lived in Toronto but I was younger and shy but ya that city is very busy … Back to Vancouver Commercial drive and Main Street are or used to be pretty easy to engage mostly because of the coffee Shops …but still !! I also lived in Calgary ! By far the friendliest haha I became the grumpy elevator non talker somehow haha and everyone EVERYONE sooo nice during crazy stampede week but total strangers wanted to split taxis lol It’s weird how people can be . This is true but I figured out why… it’s because everyone in Vancouver has to hustle we are tired and ya no one here talks in elevators which has been going on for a while I even TRIED everyday to engage with people in my building but only when I moved out was when i found I connected ..a little … keep trying keep saying hello And ya the street community is amazing and help them whenever you can Keep being kind and eventually karma around ❤
