Increasing access to medical oxygen: Action to ensure sustained gains high-level side event was held on Wednesday, 24 May 2023 on the side lines of the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland. The event was convened by the Global Oxygen Alliance (GO2AL), with support from PATH, Unitaid and WHO. It brought together over 200 participants representing 48 countries to mark the adoption of the “Increasing Access to Medical Oxygen” WHO resolution and launch GO2AL, as two important milestones in recognizing and reaffirming the critical role of medical oxygen in building resilient health systems.
