I know you’re upset, and what he’s saying is wrong, but please understand this what Goku wants. And that’s saving his friends and the Namekians, and to beat Frieza. Even if means getting destroyed along with Namek. It’s worth it.
In manga, only at Namek Goku shouts at Gohan, saying words like "Die you Frieza!", and "Damn it all~!!!". He also forced King Kai to change the wish and the reason he said was literally for revenge. King Kai said thats Super Saiyan talking, not Goku. Manga is always darker.
Frieza saying, "is your phone call over? Good thing they reached you before i disconnected your number" always makes me laugh.
In the original Japanese Goku wasn’t talking this nice and hugging trees, he was more gangster and menacing. He actually said he won’t forgive king Kai if he didn’t accept his demand. The English translation buttered down a lot of the dialogues to make it more PG, i.e. for kids.
You guys should rewatch DBZ in Japanese subtitled. It’s more raw and ruthless. And you can really feel the whole situation.
Not to mention the real world references like the one to Einstein that made no sense in the Dragon Ball world. Could Frieza even know what is a phone line? Ridiculous.
They also changed when Son Goku talked to King Kai about Krilin's death and that he can't be resurrected. "Krilin was a good guy and my best friend. He died twice and will never be brought back again. I'll avenge him !" That's what Goku originally said. It's sad that you lost a lot of references or important things in the US adaptation
They should see the manga as well, it's way more violent and mature, the anime is actually pretty tame

I love Goku but he was being stupid stop fooling around with Frieza and kill him before the planet blows up.

In Goku there are two contradictive natures. First, he was a martial artist who trained to control his feelings and emotions, so he can think clear in battle and explode only for critical moment to deal fatal blow. This side of Goku had been cultivated for 20 years by his teachers: granpa Gohan, Roshi, Korin, Popo and Kami.

His second nature is his Saiyan DNA, a total berserker who forget everything and let loose. Just look at Ozaru form. Thats his nature. And being a Super Saiyan for 1st time, because of his wrath, strengthen this bloodlust. He wanted to utterly humiliate Frieza and give him PTSD to feed his own ego as a warrior (KAKAROT AM STRONGEST THERE IS) and as an act of revenge.

So the Berserker Goku was this close to snap and break every one's neck, but Martial Artist Goku give solution: "aight fine you'll let loose monkey brain, but make sure every one safe first."
Vegeta's humor is underrated
😂😂😂 even though Vegeta and Goku were Rivals Vegeta was proud of him for achieving the Super Saiyan level.
14:38 lesson here people is to never gloat to your sworn enemies when you've gain an advantage as it will come back to hurt you in the future.
Now the final battle begins now and no more holding back, Goku & Frieda have the entire Planet Namek as their battlefield

This was my favorite episode of the fight the whole shenanigans with the dragon and Vegeta meeting SS Goku.

i've just watched this episode in japanese and i realized the english dub are so incorrect :)) especially the last scene, goku and frieza didn't say that.

Frieza didn't even think of killing Porunga because he thought his wish was granted. Besides, I'm not even sure if he could have killed Porunga if he tried.
I don't think anyone has killed a dragon in the canon lore.
I mean, if you include GT, then it's possible, but nobody here was close to that power.
Demon King Piccolo killed Shenron before and it was in the manga too, so it's possible to kill the dragon. He could've killed Dende and the dragon during tje wish speech haha. But yeah, maybe he didn't see it coming though
@@KaizenReactions I had a sneaking suspicion that Shenron was killed, but I didn't remember it.
Porunga is exponentially stronger than Shenron, so I didn't see it as a possibility at this point.
Yeah maybe taking out Dende would have been a choice, but he thought he got his wish, which is why I guess he didn't go for it right away.
Shenlong is killable tho, at least by Piccolo. When that happened in OG Dragon Ball and confronted with the truth, Korin admitted that yes, it is possible for Piccolo to kill Shenlong. We know how old the cat is and he knew the relationship between Kami and Piccolo. Probably Piccolo could kill Shenlong because he was the one who created it through his other half, Kami. Or maybe anyone with enough power could. We don't know.
