A crazy rain-soaked final qualifying section ended off the running for F1 on Friday during its first sprint weekend of the 2024 season, it ended with Norris taking pole, I mean Hamilton, sorry I mean Norris, confusing right? The rain wasn’t the only chaos during the last session of the day which saw Norris post that time on a wet lap that was deleted, then reinstated only a couple of minutes later. - Zábava
It has absolutely nothing to do with him not gaining a advantage. It is all about the stewards/ race directors notes. At some tracks it states if you have a lap deleted for track limits your next lap is deleted as well, this wasn’t in the stewards/ race director notes for china. If they had deleted lando time they would also have deleted max as well. If it had been in Austria then it would have been deleted but here with the gravel trap they didn’t think it was needed.
Yeah its noted but its noted Like this because you dont gain an advantage for the next lap if you run wide on the exit of the last turn
This gp is wild
Yeh, read the rules for the chinese GP......... make drama that does happen....... the pole lap was clean.
Technically but it was at the start of last lap so rules say lap should be deleted, plus lando jumpstarted a couple races ago doesn't help
It’s nonsense ,rules shouldn’t be change, follow the regulations people.Lando went off track.
I agree. Whats the point in rules if they are just there to be changed on a whim. No wonder people have a hard time following this sport when the rules change every weekend.
@@screwball992 the rules are written in such a way that you are penalized if you gain an advantage - in this instance he probably lost .300 on the following lap so it's definitely NOT an advantage. If it were red bull ring with the tarmac runoff you do typically gain an advantage and it voids the following lap as a result.
So nothing is stolen
Only in the eyes of the " conspiracy theorists " was anything "stolen" any excuse to try to redeem their fallen hero.

Its the FIA "unwritten" rule. Stop Hamilton, by hook or by crook, he's too fast. Signed Ben ("The Good Kid is Winning") Sulliedman.
