    Great video. I got my first muscle up at age 62.5 six months ago. Waiting for the snow to melt up here in Wisconsin so I gain get back to a park with a proper bar to continue to improve. Thanks Chris.

    I discovered your channel 4 years ago and it got me into calisthenics. I’m a junior in Highschool now and muscle ups has never been easier. It really set a foundation when I start pole vault too. Thank you for making these videos man!

    Just did my first muscle up today. I am into calis about 2 months now I'd say. Have to admit that it hurt like hell in the neck/ upper shoulder area. Had to sit down and not move my arms for like 5 mins since I thought they were about to fall off. Maybe I wasn't properly warm lol. I can do about 10 pullups and 20 pushups in fresh state. I belive the handstand pushups did the job since they really focus on this upper shoulder/ neck area, so you gotta train that if you're missing the last part of muscle ups. I can maybe do 5 handstand pushups in fresh state.. Cheers

    What a great exercises! I just got a pull up bar for my home and will try to increase pull ups!

    👌I used these exercises (+2 that Chris has shared) when I started and helped a lot to get my first muscle up. Especially negatives that I am still using as warm up before my pull training

    Hi Chris. Any videos for beginners? I have the basic bench press and weights. Treadmill. Chin bar. I’m about to start in health, work out, crunches. Abs. Feels overwhelming. But I’ve written down what I will do, schedule, nutrition. Overall I’m excited. I’m 20 Year’s of age and my friends are like so your going to make this your priority? I’m like for my health, getting to know my system, Yes.

    The exercise makes perfect sense for correct technique. You’ll get used to keeping the bar close to your body. The plus is getting a stronger core.

    Using the Smith machine is great for straight bar dips, can adjust it up and down.

    Chris if i dont have that low bar can i use a bar at a squat machine and try the first excercise there
    and also love your videos , it helped me to push through my fatty phase and now i am way more fit and am in the better condition than ever
