I went through the five stages of grief with this song, which isn't even a fic-related joke. I've been listening to Glass Animals for a few years, so having this song blow up in the mcyt community was really fun at first. I even decided to read Heatwaves after reading the comments under the lyrics video. Eventually, though, I started getting annoyed by it, because everyone was using it.
But honestly I couldn't stay mad at it for long, it's too fucking good.
