Couldn't agree more! I LOVE Cordoba. I lived all over Andalucia, and it is by far my favorite city. Here I was starting to feel guilty that I don't like Seville as much, and you have validated my feelings.
Dude, you are absolutely, incredibly amazing! I am literally planning my itinerary with the help of your videos. Gracias so much, tons of hugs from Peru!

This is a great video and thanks for your pointers. The Mosque-Cathedral is fascinating as well as the Viana Palace. I’m planning to go back there because we haven’t able to visit the Alcazar in Cordoba. This video will be of great help to new travelers. Keep it up 👍
I feel so grateful to have done study abroad in Córdoba! I've been to every place you listed many times. (Well, except the bull fighting museum) I miss it!!!
woltersworld "1000 years ago, Cordoba was one of the largest cities in Europe" - more than that, it was the largest city in the world. It's population peaked at over 1 million during the 11th century, considerably larger than both Constantinople and Baghdad. Just thought you should know!
MrTooboredtocare I wonder where you got the number from. I have serious doubts city of this size could sustain itself at that time. More to the point, a more realistic number of 450,000 is given here: geography.about.com/library/weekly/aa011201c.htm
Baghdad was big international city,People spoke Aramaic, Arabic and Persian. Many different groups of people lived there Arabs, Persians, Jews, and Greeks. Many different gods were worshipped: there were Christians, Jews, and Zoroastrians. The population of Bagdad Community at that time was 3 million , bagdad itself around 800 thousand. By the way cordoba population now around 320 thousand !

Saludos
Love Cordoba, the Mezquita is freaking brilliant!

Qurtuba is NOT the original name. It's a translation of Cordoba in Arabic.
