When it comes down to it, did we get it right, that it is mostly Room Correction and Sound Formats, that causes there to be a difference?!? If you don't agree what other differences make a true easily compared audible difference in what one hears? Thanks for watching! And thanks to all our new subscribers!

I went for the A1h mainly because of the 19 speaker switching (9.4.6 from 8 height options)- between ATMOS, DTS pro, IMAX etc - not built yet but can't wait!
I’m curious of what receiver/processor you came from. I picked up a Denon 6700H secondhand about a month ago running it in preamp mode in a 5.3*.6 and I’m genuinely impressed. the crazy thing is I solely stream off of an Apple TV.
@djparra41 it's some old 7.1 amp. Nothing special because I have a connected end terrace house her in the UK I didn't both upgrading till the opportunity arrived to convert out detached annex room into a hybrid music live room / cinema.
I loved the Denon 3800h for home theatre. Even had a great time listening to music in Auro. Then I found a great deal on an Arcam AVR10 and was blown away by the 2 channel music on that receiver. I actually stopped listening to music with Auro and just enjoy the hell out of 2 channel now on the Arcam.
I would say if you’re a music person, Denon and Marantz aren’t the best way to go.
I even A/B tested the Rotel Tribute 2 channel amp vs my Arcam AVR 10 running 2 channel and the Arcam sounded better even though that Rotel Tribute is a fantastic 2 channel amp.
Arcam is a great best of both worlds amp for home theatre and 2 channel music. Denon is great for home theatre and such a great user interface.
How many channels does the Arcam support? and do you know if it has a preamp mode like the Denon and Marantz?
@@djparra41 It’s a 7 channel amp but has preouts and supports up to a 7.2.4 setup if you add external amplification. My setup is a 5.1.4.
The AV10 is an incredible build like the quality of an audiophile 2 x channel high end pre amp / integrated.
The quality of the DAC is a big difference. Look at an Audio Control pre/pro vs Emotiva for instance
Dirac Live Bass Control - unfortunately one cannot implement a MiniDSP to save channels 😢. Same goes for Trinnov's Waveforming. All of our 16 channel processors just became obsolete (IF one is wishing to implement the BEST setups). PLEASE correct me if I am mistaken? Example: using the Monoprice HTP-1's 5 Subwoofer output channels with DLBC does work, however then the 16 channels becomes a limiter (4 overheads and 0 wides 😢). Use a single Subwoofer output on any processor + MiniDSP (4 Subwoofer outputs) with DLBC and DLBC cannot do its thing (at least not on the Subwoofer channels, where it is most beneficial). Thoughts everyone? 🤔
I believe the four independent subwoofer outputs will become far more important when dirac active room correction is implemented in the future. How game changing this is remains to be seen, but it certainly looks very promising.
Hey fellas😊😊😊
The A1h has four bass outputs if you want the latest Dolby separation. However it's not worth it and best to have the one with all four being tweakable.
I think I’m confused on your comment because to my understanding all four sub outputs are individually tunable whether that be utilizing the most expensive Dirac bass management add-on, or also achievable by a couple of the Audyssey options.
@djparra41 hi, I belive that dolby or IMAX processing has four independent directional bass outputs on this amp. Or you can do the usual mono.
But yes, all four regardless are adjustable.
Ive had a Denon 4800h and the sound was really process … a lot of punch but very bad dialogue representation… went back to Marantz and its better at every front…
I realize that investing in more channel is just not worth it…investing thousands of dollars for hearing barely anything from additional channel is a total fraud …
