Magpie vs Door Mat

I never liked that mat anyway!!
This Australian magpie is collecting materials for its nest and is well known for using available household items such as door mats and hanging basket liners. The nests are built exclusively by the females and generally placed high up in a eucalyptus tree fork. The Australian magpie is probably best known for its complex, musical, warbling call and for dive-bombing anything that gets near its nest during the Spring.
