Mr. Raju Narayana Swamy
Presently the commissioner of civil supplies in Kerela, Mr. Swamy is himself a graduate in computer science from IIT Madras and first rank holder in GATE and IAS exams. He has earned many accords as he hit against the political-bureaucrat-media-corruption nexus in India. He gained vast popularity as he unearthed illegal land dealings involving the son and daughter of the then public works Minister T. U. Kuruvilla who had to resign over the issue.
What will you do when you have a brilliant computer career anywhere in the world you choose with the backing of several advanced technical papers too published in international journals to your credit?
When you are powerless to do anything for the people, why should you waste your life as the Co-Ordinator for a Schools Programme?
Perhaps it is because he feels that he owes to the country who brought him up and because he wanted to prevent the misuse of the money.

Salute sir, As a first rank holder from 10th, +2, IIT AND IAS and 10th rank in entrance test in world most competitive university , u r the most intelligent and educated guy in this country and still want to serve this nation when all ppl are moving out. Even ppl in US were shocked when u rejected their offer of millions of dollars. Sadly u never got the deserved position here.

@@lejijancy He is the only one who is not a failure. I wish I have a strength of mind as his. He is like the Ram of modern times and many people would like to be like him. One can always have a life where they gather wealth for themselves, but after many lives of this kind, when one decides to give, the joy is amazing, and one feels so much richer than when one earns for oneself and does things for just oneself. When you give, you will experience that you are not just you, you will experience the universe (all is one ) within you. It will expand your life, and that I think is life. not just living for oneself, worrying for oneself, hoarding for oneself, that just makes life so small... no matter what all you have.. the experience is not as life should be.
@@lejijancy Wife divorcing proves nothing. A wife can divorce for any reason, and its better than living with discontent. Of course, bookish knowledge will not help anyone but look at his records first in almost all exams, just proves this man's grit and determination, and the fact that he could have been earning and living well anywhere on this planet. But look at his choice.. he chooses to serve this country, Its a very hard decision, and needs some real integrity. I admire his integrity and dedication to his nation. I wish someday he is a minister and in a big post. He is a gem of a person, I pray he is protected and given a bigger chance to serve our Nation. BTW what's the name of the movie you referred to?

A big salute to India's best IAS officer ever.
Most important thing about Raju Narayan Swami is that he is not only I.A.S topper And Gate topper but he has been first in all the exams he appeared from State board exam , predegree , Gate , IAs prelimeniaries and IAS exam itself.
This guy has lot of respect in my heart. He is a doer not just a speaker.
Today (June 2019) he's being given notice for termination from IAS at the age of 51, ten years before the end of his tenure by a joint conspiracy by State Govt, Central Govt (Sadananda Gowda) and corrupt Chief Secretary of Kerala State. He has been denied salary for the last 4 months. He has served under his juniors his whole career because he's not a malleable person. He is begging us common people and media to support him to not miss his livelihood. This man could've had the world under his feet yet he chose to serve his homeland and we repay him with this. This world is not built for honest people, he has been failed by the system.

I don't think he failed. If he'd chosen the dollar path, no one would know a person named Raju Narayana Swamy. There are other rank ones of many years in the state. They would've reached top positions nd would be earning pretty good sums. But how many do we know? Today he stands as a model before young people to pursue the path of honesty. It's a big thing. People will remember him for who he is. That is when we say that a person is successful.

He is one of the few honest and brilliant officer's we saw in this 21st century but very unfortunate he is been blocked where ever he was performing the duty shame on indian political system so called democracy which is being buried every where due to ones own benefits.

Only the head bleeds. Corruption is part, parcel and culture of Indians. If you are not corrupt then you will become another Swamy. To be successful you have to go with the flow and that is when you see someone corrupt then close your eyes if you are honest. Everyone hates corruption. That's the part of our Indian culture and we have to accept it...I live abroad and if I have to get somethings done in Govt Office, I first bribe them and the work is done in lightning speed and officials are very happy. It's a win win situation.

It's OK to have a regional accent...What other accent would you like him to have?...His Malayalam is immaculate..That's all one needs to care...
How about your accent? It's better to have some MTI than faking a foreign accent.
If Americans and Europeans can speak their own accent versions, I think he too can and still feel proud in speaking English in Malayalam accent breaking a big false notion of Indian mindset.
