You can tell she’s standing in her truth because of how steadfast and unwavering her voice is while she speaks. There are unfortunately too many of these pedos in the edm community (every community honestly), but he has established such a massive empire that he’s been able to hide behind those walls he’s built. I’m sending so much love to you shelly. Even if he did really have feelings for this girl, there are so many other ways he could’ve displayed that. I’m sure he absolutely hates hearing anyone tell him no, but now more than ever, because of shelly, people are speaking out again. It is insane to think of all these victims. Forgot to clarify: the rest of the 1.2 million $ award, was $700k for his attorneys fees. So the breakdown is: 50k for ten breaches = 500k + 700k attorneys fees. NOTHING TO DO WITH COURT! Nothing to do with the lawsuits! No judge or jury was involved. It was ARBITRATION. For breaching the agreement.

I appreciate you for interviewing her and bringing awareness to this. But I do think you need to work on your interviewing. You definitely cut her off a few times and you also did ask a question that was a bit invasive. "Did it hurt". I think it's important to be mindful of what you are asking and how that might affect her. While also allowing her the full space to say what she needs. I really appreciate you for pouring into her at the end and speaking from a genuine place. But I really think it's important to be a bit more mindful of what you are saying and how you are coming across. Especially when it comes to such a sensitive subject. Thank you again for bringing awareness to this.

I used to absolutely LOVE Diplo, his music and colabs...and I have heard many allegations about his treatment not to just women but specifically under age women. This has made me stop listening and supporting his music or anything connected to him within his music career. Now I question other artists closely connected to him like Skrillex and Major Lazor, how his behavior now tarnish their reputations due to this and much more. I am disgusted and repulsed by what he has done to Shelly and many other vulnerable girls. Major respect and complete love and all my support, light and energy to all of them especially Shelly Auguste for making this courageous stance and unstoppable action to hold him accountable and pay for his criminal actions. Youre the BEST for having the platform available for her and others to feel safe and supported to voice themselves.

This happened to me, my ex lied to me about getting tested to sleep with me, gave me HPV 16 and it's caused me to have precancerous cells and some other issue i can't remember the name of. I have had to head to really painful procedures to get the cancer out and I'm currently trying to decide if I want to get a hysterectomy or just get checked for cancer every 6 months for the rest of my life. I'm not sure how I could prove it, but I'm pretty sure it does constitute as sexual assault in my state.
