I've always remembered this movie like a fever dream , I haven't seen it since the 90' s , It always seemed like the anti teen movie
Also maybe you could maybe say whatever your going to watch next so your subscribers could come somewhat prepared.
That’s a great idea! We don’t always have the next movie picked by the time we shoot, but I plan on putting up a CZcams post ahead of the video to give some heads up on what is coming next 🍻
Cool thanks@@greencornerfilm
this movie is probably why me and my friends were obsessed with being punk in middle school in the early 2000s
One of my fave movies since i was 18 in 2003... Matthew lillard and this movie is so under rated !!!
Great format, excellent analysis - and a movie I never even knew existed
Mathew Lillard has always been the coolest celebrity I ever met, such a nice guy!
He seems like a great dude. Hopefully he stumbles across this episode one day.
I love this move. I love movies when the main character narrates and talk to the camera. Also, movies with flashbacks. There are flashbacks inside flashbacks.
Loving your conversational style of movie analysis. Live SLC Punk!
SLC Punk is one of my favorite movies. I think you guys did a great job analyzing the movie and enjoyed hearing what you guys thought about the film. I was actually spoiled on the ending from a local band using it as a sample on one of their songs.
Another reason to like Matthew Lillard: he's a darn good D&D player.
Just found you guys and so glad you did this film. My absolute favorite movie of all time. Keep up the dope reviews
I love this movie. And it hits so different as an adult but the message still rings true. ❤
Glad to find another SLC Punk enjoyer! Thanks for checking out the channel.
It's funny how I used to know so many people like the characters in this movie in my own life. My punk years were wild, now I'm just getting older and working a normal job. All I have left to show for it is scars, stories, and a skinhead hairstyle (or lack there of) that's more just an excuse not to show my thinning hairline. Oh, to be young and reckless all over again.
Y'all just forget mathew lillard was in scream? One of the biggest horror movies of the 90s? I'm not the biggest fan of the scream franchise in my older years but he's had some pretty prominent roles and a career just as solid as the rest of the notable cast members. Clueless from director Penelope Spheris and the 13 ghosts remake are other notable roles he's done.
Also Devon Sawa had his first film role in Casper the friendly ghost and was the lead in Idle Hands, one of the other great cult horror films of the 90s
I also totally forgot serial mom by John waters, another fantastic Lillard film
It would appear we did forget to mention this! How embarrassing… Great call-outs though, lots of fun behind the scenes connections with this movie.
@@greencornerfilm still a solid video, good chemistry and production/analysis style. Hope to see you do some more movies in this vein. I'll throw out a recommendation to watch Fast Sofa with Jake busey and Crispin glover, it's another odd film kind of like SLC Punk
bless heroin bob who walked, so that meth courtney could run
10/10 very punk rock content
We like to keep things very punk rock here at the corner
How did you not do the alcohol scene in Wyoming
Funny you should ask! We did have a whole discussion around this but it ended up getting cut for overall runtime. Can’t keep everything in unfortunately or these bad boys would be far too long.
@@greencornerfilm that’s one of my favorite scenes because it shows how outcasts were viewed in the small town and the Bible Belt
@DarkAngel1985Mike totally agree it was an awesome scene.
