  • 2008 - 2012 Chevy Malibu / Saturn Aura, and probably some other GM models /years.
This vehicle is a 2012 Malibu although the concept and procedure is mostly the same on any vehicle with an anchor pretensioner.
The anchor pretensioner needs to be replaced in order to clear the code. That's the part that bolts into the seat frame. However you would follow this exact same procedure if you are replacing the seat belt.
In some cases, you will need to replace the entire seat belt - such as if the vehicle has been in a collision - so follow this step by step procedure if needed.
Otherwise, to fix B001B just replace the anchor pretensioner that is bolted to seat frame.
Please comment how I can make my videos better and help out more.
    Thank you and God bless

That Orange bending Cable is broken under my seat, and every time i sit, the service air bag light turns on.

What about the orange tag u pulled up and removed the plug from the unit in the back seat. Do u just leave it out or what. You didn’t tell us.

Hi Tom, thanks for letting me know, you are going to want to push the orange tab back in once the yellow connector is re-installed

Was there a beeping sound from the dash?

Hmm I’m not sure but if there was a sound due to the car thinking your seat belt was unbuckled, then you would want to replace the buckle, not the belt
