Chris, the word you're looking for is pneumatic.
Air shifters are pneumatic and the electronics is used to kill the ignition in milliseconds.

Wonder if the chassis on that Hayabusa is flexing enough to change the direction of the rear wheel under power. I mean, it's not like it was designed to deal with over 600 horsepower.
