If you notice she always answered precisely and take her time to think thru before answering. She is a judge for a reason. And like what colbert said, the fact she stay in DC? Probably a lion inside her to get to where she is.

I love these segments. Stephen has a way to make people in power seem like regular people you'd like to hang out with.
Unfortunately, Stephen is doing that for Democrats only. That's either on purpose, or one need to believe in the assumption that no DC Republican is a regular person who we would like hang out with. Which would be quite a big statement to come up with.

Hardly. I found it rather wonderful that she had no idea about Ghostbusters. It may be helpful for a judge to have some understanding of popular culture, but it is by no means a requirement. It is is a small example of her, as a judge, remains one step apart. That is only a good thing.

Stephen should go full Conan and do remotes regularly; he's been fantastic at them for two decades now, and most of that beautiful skillset is rusting in the studio. The producers got him from behind the desk and onto the stage with great results, it's time they do more field pieces. They're a welcome change of format. I can only hear so many peetape and Mueller jokes before retching.

i second that! so true that his greatest gift is being wasted for the most part on monologues and interviews. his most edgy work so far was with colbert report, but the work that i always found the funniest was the original daily show remotes, when he was perfectly playing the serious looking tv journalist with a surrealist line of questioning. also back then the daily show had a more loose feeling, so they gave him a long leash, resulting in some of the funniest stuff ever. id love to see that again. and as great he is at format, i think he shines the most when improvising. more remotes!

Government officials are trying so hard to find a level of communication that Trump understands. So, we get children's books. Got to keep trying.
Remember that, and this is true, his own legal team stated they have gone on Fox news programmes in the hope that he will pay more attention to them and the words they are saying if he sees them on tv.
the Philly cheesesteak has the exact same type of breading structure as the hot dog, and we all know that the Philly cheese steak is definitely a sandwich, but when you order it you don't have to say give me a Philly cheese steak sandwich you can just say give me a Philly cheesesteak and they'll know what you're talking about, therefore I submit that a hot dog can be nothing but a sandwich when it is sandwiched between bread. That's where I come out. If somebody already said this, I said it with worse punctuation.
