So when he came home this past weekend I rented us a room for the night to get away and am having a nice bottle of tequila sent to him where he is stayin. He not only sent me flowers but also sent to our daughter and daughter in law. And left me some money with a cute note 📝 he’s a wonderful man/dad/husband!

I half agree with Sebas. It's more about the planning and the thought of (I know my person likes the holiday and I want to treat them). But knowing your person is so important as well. For me, it's not about dinner and flowers. It's about experiences. So if they planned a hike, just the two of us, in a spot we have been wanting to hit but haven't been able to. And it was just us chillin having a nice time. That's worth more than any monetary value item. But again it's about knowing your person, and maybe just doing something with each other you haven't done in a while. It's not always about grand gestures. Some of us don't like PDA (or maybe just me) lol
