I am a nurse who had undiagnosed ADHD. During nursing school I took adderall and did not feel any effect really. While my friends said it made them super focused and anxious. Now 4 years later , I take it on school days for my masters or during work and I find myself less scattered. Leveled out is a good way to put it like Josh said. Y’all should bring in Andrew Huberman, I watched his episode on this and whoa! He is a neuroscientist at Stanford I believe and he knows so much! Amazing human being. Love y’all! Y’all inspire me every episode❤

I agree!! I always feel like he holds back or goes back and fourth between the subject. Now and days you say the wrong thing or someone takes it out of context and “Canceled” but the real fans get them and know they’re not like that. 😊
If you think about it all the noise in Mexico the morning is people selling stuff (like gas, tamales, tortillas, etc) and hustling super early in the morning. That is admirable and should be respected if anything
And super annoying. We have a Mexican lady coming to my apartment complex every morning 7am to sell donuts. I wouldn't have a problem with it if she didn't yell Donut Donut for 10 fukin minutes.
My take on the Yaritza situation is, that kids say stupid things. Maybe she had never been to Mexico, and it can definitely be a culture shock for someone who has never been to other countries. They are now just stepping into the world of travel due to their fame, and will experience different foods and cultures. Hopefully they learned that somethings aren't meant to be said out loud.

I’m from Washington and I can tell you the comida en Mexico, the tacos en Mexico are 100000% better. I think they just weren’t exposed to Mexico when they were growing up and unfortunately never experienced another place let alone another beautiful country like Mexico so they are just used to the tacos en Quashington. La soda en bolsita was my favorite thing growing up! 😅

See I just got back from Paris and I did experience the rudeness from some French people but in my opinion they act just like some Americans act towards other nationalities 🤷🏽♀️ just like the US, the French don’t believe they should accommodate you for not speaking their language or understanding their culture …

I was diagnosed with ADHD in middle school :7th grade but it definitely changed me to feel like a zombie an my older sister at the time she told me every day when I got home from school I was to my self an quiet an that I was rude an mean to her lmao,she opened my eyes an I noticed it but not with bad intentions it was like 40 mg I was having to take ! so as a middle schooler on a high dose of that, It definitely zombified me! Within a month my teachers noticed my behavior change an would hold me back before lunch or class change to tell me how proud they are that I’m focused an willing to learn an pay attention unlike before I was talking loud during exams,movies,films, an couldn’t read a sentence or math problems without having to read it 20x times just to comprehend even the slightest bit of the question/sentence 😅I hated being medicated with that so I stopped taking it after a year of trial an error with it upping my dosage an things like that ,so highschool I did it on my own an it was better bc I had more self control an was aware (my brain )was also more mature , I knew that it was going to have to focus an let me be incontrol rather than medication that wears off an had a shit ton of side effects! I wouldn’t eat ,losing weight which at the time didn’t bother me but not eating an not feeling hungry at all was scary as a middle schooler 😅fast forward to now ,at the Age of 23 I feel my ADHD has s starting to peak through my day to day living ,I’ve heard other people say that there ADHD also effects them more now than it did in there younger years which is so insane to me bc it’s kinda true ,I try to be in-control now 🙏🏽I can definitely fill it bothering me but we got this 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Honestly I agree how when it comes to Yahritza and her escénica we aren’t referring to their talent. It’s just I do understand how everyone is saying they’re kids but by that age you know exactly what you’re saying and how you want to get your point across. After what they said it did feel like they weren’t representing Mexico so much if anything more like using that to grow. I also understand how everyone may have different likes and may not enjoy Mexico as much because they were born here. Yet, they should’ve seen it as okay maybe they don’t like it but they didn’t have to make faces in a video while ordering tacos or they could’ve said everything in a better way. So yes, I was born in the U.S and grew up going to Mexico every summer. Everything they said they didn’t like was what represents Mexico and what they have to offer. It’s a whole different life out there. So it does make people feel some type of way because you don’t go saying all the negative things. I just think they could’ve gone about it a different way🤷🏻♀️ but they’ll learn and that’s what life is about learning and growing :)
I understand completely everything what your saying. That was me going 2-3 times a year to Mexico. Everything they experience is what we love because we experienced it as a child. Its our childhood. I have a child who loves being Mexican American, loves his culture. In a school mostly white he loves to always represent his culture without being shy about it. BUT he doesn’t enjoy the food and doesn’t speak spanish. The fact that I know my own ppl will hate on him for that is sad. I’ve never taken him to Mexico cause I don’t feel safe there. If at some point he does go he’s gonna be confused at some of the things he sees. We grew up with it which became normal.
It was the faces and unnecessary comments they said about Mexico. Specially them making money by singing regional mexicano. A sincere apology would of have been better for them than justifying themselves with the Pepe Garza episode. Just my opinion I don’t hate them at all though, its their cocky attitude that made people mad.

I’m a little late to La Platica fam. I just recently started listening/watching the podcast. I started listening to you guys on Spotify then switched over to watching you guys on CZcams. I would compare it to how you guys feel about the headphones, on or off. Spotify being without the headphones and CZcams being with them on, it’s still very good but watching you on CZcams makes it feel more connected and 100x funnier! 😂 I was enjoying being able to watch the episode back to back..Having to wait until Monday now that I’m all caught up feels like FOREVER! I was very excited when I seen the episode up in the AM and caught myself saying “Yessss! Mondays don’t suck anymore!” 🤣 I wish you guys released an episode everyday 😭

Paris was incredible for me. Boutique hotel, scootered around soaked up the architecture. I’m a quiet person so I found French people to be pretty friendly. I’ve heard that Americans are just super loud and obnoxious - atleast compared to how European people conduct themselves in public. Just depends on what you’re there for!

Paris was incredible for me. Boutique hotel, scootered around soaked up the architecture. I’m a quiet person so I found French people to be pretty friendly. I’ve heard that Americans are just super loud and obnoxious - atleast compared to how European people conduct themselves in public. Just depends on what you’re there for!
