Best tip I heard - read a chapter everyday!!
Congrats on passing the SPI! What an accomplishment!
Thank you so much!💞 Your channel definitely helped me in my sonography journey!
Thank you this was simple enough for me to understand it, you added personal study habits which do not get talking about enough and asking for help! This really lowers my anxiety about this test. Thank you!!
Thank you for making this. My name is Lyric, and I'm taking a huge step and going back to school to become a sonographer . Hearing you talking about encourages me, thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Hi I am taking mines 1/10/23 am nervous as hell. I hope I pass 👏🏽. I read Edelman book and make 6 flash card booklet, am listening all the URR physics quizzes & Prepry I review while am @ work with my phone. Lord I hope I pass so I can sit my ARRT next month

Did you pass? How is it going
Thank you for this , I am going into clinicals next week and all I can think about is this SPI exam 😅 I know it’s a bit of a stretch away but I also know times flies . Thanks again!
You can do it! Thanks for watching!
Which school are you or were you attending? Im getting readu for CBD college in april 2024...
taking the spi in a few days!! so nervous :,)
I live in Aus and I am interested in sonography but I am bad at maths and didn’t do physics in high school. Will I be okay?
Hey pls share book names which we have to read
Congratulations
Thank you!!
I’m taking mine in October and I am terrified. Best tip was to not make flash cards on everything because god knows that was going to be my first step😂 Thanks for the video!
You got this! Don’t stress, you have more than enough time to prepare for it! Please don’t make the same mistake I did with flashcards😂. I wish you good luck and thank you for watching!
Can someone please share me this book in pdf
Hi. Can anyone tell me from where can i get Edelman cd and flash cards. I ma not able to find it online. Thanks
I’ve tried to find them online, but I believe you may have to attend the Edelman conference to get them. I got those flashcards from my teacher, but I’m sure she had to go to the Edelman conference. I hope you find them!
hey are you interested in selling any of your sono books?
Congratulations dear its not so easy but i appreciate ur hard work
And did have any idea about spi books in soft form pdf file
Thank you! I haven’t gotten any notes in pdf file, but I’m pretty it would’ve really beneficial versus how time consuming it is to write them lol. Thank you for watching!
@@cierrabreanna Hello. Thank you for the informative video. Currently I'm in the process of applying for this very program. By any chance do you know how often you are able to retake this test if you happen to fail?
I toke the spi in December and I failed. So scared to take it again and I have the green book but it’s just so hard to retain all that information any other tips on studying other than reading a few chapters a day?
I would suggest going over the most heavy chapters in the book first (chapter 6, 12, 15, 18-21) and then refreshing on the rest. Make flash cards on the things you’re still confused on. If you don’t like paper flash cards, then you should try quizlet. They also have Edelman quizlets on there if you don’t feel like making one. It offers different ways for you to study the material and test yourself. The biggest mistake a lot of people made in my program was waiting too long to take it again because they forgot all of the information and had to relearn everything again, so I would suggest, once you feel like you know enough and you’re not still confused on the concepts, to go take it before you start to forget! Good luck with your exam, I hope this helps!
@@cierrabreanna aww thank you so much hun for taking the time out to respond this is very helpful
Did u have understanding ultrasound physics in soft from like pdf
Can u plz give me ur email Id
Oh my goodness I don't know if my brain can take it. I do have the book though 😅
Is it beneficial to learn before starting the classes? I’m worried I’ll be behind when everyone knows the material so I’m trying to learn it now before I get into sonography
Hi! For the SPI, YES! I would recommend reviewing the material before the class because physics can be hard to understand, especially when its taught very quickly. Studying before the test will help you a lot with understanding the material and not being overwhelmed.
@@cierrabreanna ok thank you!! I feel it definitely would benefit me since I’m not really good at grasping tasks in such a short time. But I’m glad that I can study it on my own I was afraid I’d have to wait until classes start.
After you take the SPI How many ARDMS exams do you have to take?
Just the ARRT/ARDMS exam at the end of the program or your registry exam for general ultrasound like OB and abdomen registry.
Hi, did you get an associate degree or certification? Do you suggest one over the other?
I will be getting an associates degree in Applied science and a certificate in diagnostic medical sonography once I graduate. I have plans of entrepreneurship in the future and want to branch out to other things so I didn’t feel that a bachelors was necessary if I don’t plan to work in healthcare for the rest of my life. When you only have a certificate, you’re kind of limited to just ultrasound. The pay is usually the same whether you have a bachelors or a associates. It all depends on your future career plans. If you plan on working in healthcare or management in health care for the rest of your life then I would recommend a associates but eventually getting a bachelors if you want to do management.
This is a difficult question to answer so I’m definitely going to make a video on it soon! I really hope this helped and didn’t confuse you even more 😭
@@cierrabreanna oh no that made sense. I have a bachelors already (not health related), and I was really concerned with applying for jobs if I only did the certification route at my school or an associate degree. This was really helpful though, thank you!
@@dreajas Ofcourse! That’s great if you already have a bachelors then you can just get a certificate in ultrasound or you can take the associates route, but it’d be quicker (less than 2 years) with the certification route!
when did you take your spi? someone said to take it as soon as you pass physics 2
I took it 1 1/2 months after taking the class because the class was only one month long and I still needed time to relearn everything lol.
I was suggest to take it as soon as possible because if you wait too long, you will forget everything that you’ve learned, but if you were still confused then take time to go to tutoring and get a better understanding of it.
@@cierrabreanna you mean as soon as i pass physics ?
Yes! As soon as you pass physics, but if you’re not ready yet, continue to study and schedule it at a time that you feel you’re most confident. Don’t rush it if you don’t feel confident in the exam yet.
And to study the green book 📗
Anyone have this book in pdf??? Please share with me
U need ?
@@876aida yes please
Overall I’m interested in sonography, but I struggle with math
Math is a small portion of sonography. Once you pass the SPI, you’ll be good!
How many times to get to try to pass ?
I passed on the first try. My school had a deadline for students to pass. We were granted a chance to try again after 60 days of taking it, but every program is different.
To this day I’m one month in and don’t understand decibels
When you graduate you are certified when u pass the test u are registered
No. I was granted 6 months to get my registry after getting hired at my job. I would say to take your asap after school. You’ll start to forget a lot if you continue to hold it off
I need your book please
I don't have money to buy the book
My is tomorrow (08/19/2022) …….😬🥹😩😭😤😟. …… I got sooooo many mixed emotions. Wish me luck 🤞🏾🙏🏾
Good luck you got this!!!✨
I wish I would’ve seen this sooner. I wish you the best of luck!!! I really hope you passed!
@@cierrabreanna I passed!!!! 🤸🏾♀️💃🏾. It wasn’t that bad like I thought it will be
@@Marbles_f that’s a blessing! Congrats!!🎉 I thought the same thing once I took it. I wish you good luck in school, you definitely got this!
