I had no idea that the questions can change based on wrong answers. I thought it was already pre made and couldn't change. Good to know.

I passed! 629 out of 700! Thank you so much for your videos and advice! I went through the test and answered what I could, and then reviewed the answers that I didn't know. Your advice about questions repeating in different formats helped me a lot....I was able to see the commonalities between the questions I didn't know and narrow down the correct answer. wouldn't it be best to not flag them so they don't keep bringing the type of questions you get the wrong and just go back on the question by writing it down on the paper?

Every year there’s new test questions but the actual physics of ultrasound doesn’t change. So as long as you have a general knowledge of ultrasound physics, you’ll do OK we try to keep our study materials on our site updated to conform with the current exam.

I take my exam tomorrow!! I was so terrified the past few weeks that I’ve even rescheduled for a later date. I still feel lost lol however, I’ve been studying almost every single day for the past month. I have no idea how this is going to go, but I’m finally starting to feel CONFIDENT that I’ll pass and I BELIEVE in myself!

@@florgaldamez1811 I'm not the original poster but I took mine last month. It went better than expected! I suggest purchasing the X-Zone and reviewing as many questions as you can before you take it.

Flor Galdamez no formulas at all. I would say focus on artifacts and the resolutions, along with relationships!

Lisa Love Hi there! I used the Davies Publishing SPI book and there were a lot of similar or exact questions that were on the test like the book! Hope this helps!

Question........do you recommend to learn it or memorize it? I just can’t with this darn physics. I’m having a VERY difficult time with it.
I get asked this a lot. Memorizing just doesn't work. The way the exam asks the questions is to see if you actually understand the information. So if you memorize a question you will be asked it a few different ways. So memorizing just doesn't work. If you understand the principle it doesn't matter how many ways they ask you you will be able to answer the question. Good luck!!
Great video brother... I just got my associates degree this yr... Living in my mom's garage. I'm making a career change.. I need guidance on where I can sign up to take this test?... It depends where you are. Main thing is go to ARDMS and apply. They will give you a list of places you can take it that are close to you. www.ardms.org/get-certified/Pages/default.aspx
Did you get your ultrasound degree from a recognized institute? You would need certain documents, given by your training institute for getting registered for an ardms exam. Visit the ardms website for guidance
I got a tip from a friend to flag all question in the beginning of the exam so it can change questions on you. Is this true? Has anyone experience this as helpful? Wanting Personal opinions from test takers. TIA

My test is tomorrow and I am absolutely nervous. I wish I had seen this a week ago and not 13 hours before my test =( I will try to stay confident and hope that all that I have studied will help me pass this exam. Thank you for the video!! I passed!😄 I watched this video the night before my exam and wished I saw it sooner as I agree with what he says:) I studied an Ultrasound Review book (Its a purple book) and many of those questions in the chapter quizzes are similar to the SPI questions:) Definitions, synonyms, relationships, resolutions and equations are vital to know. I flagged my first 7 questions and refused to answer until I came across an answer I was certain of, I finished the test in 45 minutes but utilized the extra time to go through each question again. I changed 8 answers in doing so after rereading the question fully and rationalizing why I was changing them. Im so glad I did because I knew for certain my first chosen answers were incorrect.
