I canât be the only one that wants Scout to have a sister! A second generation of Ellen-Hannah would be dreamy. đ
The most important thing is that Ellen and the baby are both healthy. However, I do think another baby girl would be nice.
I would love to see another girl in their family! Definitely! đđ
Andrew has such an interesting personality . I really like it. Thereâs something about him thatâs very calm and comforting. Hope we can see more of him in the near future.
He is like a sensitive alpha male...
Haha dry, sarcastic introvert!
I love how Andrew looks at you when talking about his attraction to you. It's so pure. Love seeing the passion.
Andrew appears a bit overwhelmed by the whole thing. Five is a lot, Andrew, and you both are great parents and have a wonderful family.đ
It's always super hilarious hearing guys talk about the pain of a vasectomy like women didn't just push a watermelon out of their body! đ€Ł
Or get a c section that's major surgery! I had 3 c sections and hubby whining about vasectomy drives me crazy lol đ
There can be lifelong pain with a vasectomy. My husband had one anyway. He said I already sacrificed my body for our family and that it was his turn
@@msaijay1153 That's swell but no one should be forced to undergo surgery for any reason.
Thereâs a pretty big reward for childbirth⊠small reward for vasectomy.

After you've had this baby will you share your un-used baby names?! I would love that :)
They have a prior video after Koufax was born about baby names they weren't using! Had they known they'd have a fifth they probably wouldn't have made that video yet, hahah :)

I know a lady who had her tubes tied, got pregnant, they tied them again and she got pregnant again. I also hear of failed vasectomies all the time. To me, those babies are just meant to be here :)
Iâve heard that too! Goes to show you thereâs no stopping God when a soul is meant to be here! đ
@@f.1395 that was probably when they were still having children. Now that this is their last Ellen and Andrew are entitled to decide a more permanent solution to not having more children.
I work in a lab and perform testing on post vasectomy patients to make sure the surgery worked. You'd be surprised how many don't and specimens still have live sperm.

As the fourth of six kids, I know that people always assume that thereâs not enough attention to go around from parents of big families. I get where theyâre coming from but I donât think people realise how much children learn from their siblings! I know I may have gotten less attention than my eldest sister but I donât feel any less loved. In fact I think Iâm lucky I had my siblings to talk to. I had a great childhood and never felt any sort of neglect. Iâm so grateful for my family and as a result Iâd love a big family for myself.
@HI HEY HELLO that might be true but the assumption is made about big families in general regardless of what the parents are like
I agree! I am the second of six kids!
I am the 6th of 9 children and I have never felt I was neglected or that there wasn't enough attention. The best part of a big family is the strong relationships that younger and older siblings form. My oldest sister has always been like a second mom to me, and even when my parents are crazy busy, there was always someone there for you. I wish more people understood what being in a big family is actually like. It's wonderful:)
@@nessiebeckem350 Exactly!
It's more an issue of there not being enough money to go around. Way too many parents put their children into poverty and hardship by having more children than they can afford. That just shouldn't happen in a world where we have access to contraception and abortion.
Stretch marks are 1,000% genetics. I have a ton and so does my mom. And we are very hydrated and healthy people. :)
CONGRATULATIONS sweet family. So excited for #5.
Low zinc levels can also cause stretch marks!
Definitely genetics cuz my mum never took care of her skin and doesn't have any. I do have on my thights but from puberty, I went through 2 pregnancies and didn't get any eventhough I got huge bellys, so something I have to thank genetics haha
My mum has tones but i got none. I used oil and magnesium spray morning and night đ€·đœââïž

I love how Andrew is so simple, but yet up for just about anything. You two are very fortunate to have found that type of love in one another
Andrew didnât expect this many. Ellen planned for this many. I never believe what people show on the internet.

I just think your babies are so lucky to have you both as parents. You guys are awesome and have created such a connected and loving life for them. Thank you for inspiring us!
My husband had a vasectomy 2 years before we met, had a reversal done 6 months after we were married and then had a varicosele repair a year after that. đđđ€ŠđŒââïž He doesn't appear to be emotionally scarred for life. đ€·đŒââïž Unfortunately after all of that we still needed to do IVF to get pregnant with my first but I'm 24 weeks and 4 days today. đȘđŒđ€°đŒ I'm planning on a home birth largely because of your influence! đ Love your family and I'm so happy for you guys. â€
Iâm happy that worked for you! Good luck
Congratulations!
No one could ever convince me to get my vasectomy reversed. It's a permanent form of birth control for men who don't want or are done having children. Getting it reversed is crazy. I honestly wish vasectomies were irreversible like bilateral salpingectomies and hysterectomies. Maybe then people would actually take them seriously.
I love this honest chat and I appreciate Andrew's deadpan delivery and sarcasm. We have five and we're done. My youngest is 4 and then 7,9,11,13. I prefer the 2 year age gap to the 3 year to be honest! It's all good now that our youngest is older. I have 4 girls, one boy and I know that my son (11) doesn't mind being the only boy. He loves babies so much and it never occurred to him to want a brother luckily! Embrace the minivan!
You both are a beautiful couple!â€ïž

I was just wondering when you'd post an update and here it is! Thank you! So happy for you guys!
I used that exact belly oil for all my pregnancies too, a friend told me about it 10 years ago when I was pregnant with my first and I've been so superstitious (kind of) and have used the same one even though there are so many new products out- and still- ZERO stretch marks. I think the main thing that contributes is gaining only what is needed for the baby (about 20-25 lbs for me at 5'7), and staying active and hydrated.
Which is it
A sister for Scout would be so cute! Yes be sure to periodically get tested if you get a vasectomy! My husbandâs friend had a surprise baby 10 years after he had his vasectomy it somehow grew back and shocked them all! Her oldest was 20 his was 18 & 16 talk about starting over!
I am not sure when cauterization became part of vasectomies, but that has greatly reduced the occurrence of the vas degrees growing back together after being cut.
Thankfully we have access to abortion for situations like that.
I love you guys! love watching these honest and open-hearted conversations :) What a beautiful family

@@joshklaver47j no, creep. That is murder, murder of an innocent being. Would you have liked for your mother to have murdered you when she got pregnant with you? You know what guys - i think it's super cool that you're openly talking about Andrew planning on getting a vasectomy. Some people are so unreasonable about this. It's so much easier and cheaper to sterilize a man than a woman that this debate can sometimes show how fragile some men's masculinity is. So much so that it stands in the way of common sense.
I'm still very young (in university) and i think it's great that you're setting a good example :)
Tons of men have had complications from their vasectomies.
@@Mint-kj9kw But on average, tubal ligation makes the likelihood of complications far greater than with no scalpel vasectomy-due to it being more invasive.
I agree. I got a vasectomy at 25, and it was no big deal. It was painless, and I was back at work the next day. Best decision I've ever made. Zero regrets. I recommend it to every guy.
You should make a video where each of the kids talk about their interests so we can get to know them all more!
â€
I think she should protect her children online
Awful idea. Child exploitation. They canât consent to this.
Terrible idea...these kids already have no privacy due to their mom exploiting them ALL online since birth. I hope these parents are putting a huge amount of money for all the money-makers, whoops, I mean children.
Unfortunately, predators can do a lot with even just a little bit of information. Knowing the childâs name, parents name, and a basic interest has been the start to child abductions (including before the internet). Very sad
Mum of 5 here, it is full on but awesome having lots of children, my eldest two are now teenagers - that part is harder than I envisaged, it is like a repeat of the full on baby years : )

Seems like it would be easier to have the vasectomy before the baby is born so you are more available to Ellen with the newborn. I will admit I have never understood why men are so reluctant to have vasectomies with their wives go thru so much to have the babies like rock stars. SO easy in comparison.;)
I would be too worried if something went wrong with labor or delivery. I know children can die at any time and life is not guaranteed- I just couldnât bear to have my husband do it while pregnant. I would be more okay 2 years after birth so we could make sure.
@@nanaronhano337 i think you're unaware how it can be easily reversed... plus it is never guaranteed that the procedure would work too. I wouldn't be surprised they have an accident in the next years. Men are being delivered the wrong information about vasectomies and it should be normalized at this point. Enough with the insane procedures on our reproductive system when there are easier methods for our partners if they are so supportive.
@@chimmystoe you really shouldnât get one unless youâre 100% sure you are not having any more children. My friends got a reversal and itâs been unsuccessful. They regret it.
Because vasectomies are effed up and unnatural AF.... husband should just get a second wife if youâre unwilling to have babies
After a vasectomy they say you still need âprotectionâ for an entire year. You may already know that, but if the doctor didnât tell you, you may want to consider doing it while baby is still nursing, so youâll be all set once he/sheâs weaned (nursing provides some birth control hormonally). My husband has down right refused for the same reasons. Good job Andrew for putting Ellen ahead of your hesitancies.
Breastfeeding is not birth control at all! Please remember about that. Just an advice from a midwife student
@@zosiarokicka3107 Like I said, nursing provides -*some*-birth control hormonally. Just some advice from a seasoned RN and nursing mother of 4.
You don't need protection for a year usually after 3 months you get rechecked to see if you're still spitting out a little soldiers they give you the all clear usually within 3 to 6 months
