Very informative as always! Thank you for the comparison. One question: Are you running the latests firmware on the Nothing Ear (2)? I have found that the mic quality was excellent out of the box but has become significantly worse after the first firmware update. However, the battery lasts longer during phone calls. Can you confirm this? Thanks!

I just placed an order on the Jabra Elite 10s.. I used to rock the Sony XM4's but I was shafted by the battery drain. Considered the Linkbuds S but saw they suffered from the same issue so Sony are now blacklisted.

Many Earbuds won't employ noise cancering unless you have both Earbuds in which walking in the city isn't very safe. Are there any Earbuds with excellent call quality using only one Earbud?

Aaron..... the liberty 4 nc got a 04.88 firmware update to improve call quality. Give it a try. I hear a slight improvement.
from yesterday i Have Liberty 4 nc and the call is rubbish with last firmware.

Have you tried the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3? For sure, it will outperform all others in voice call quality with six microphones and two VPUs. It's exceptional.
I have them, they are KING at background suppression. BUT! very muffled in extreme loud environments.

You said the airpods pro 2 only got that call quality when used on an iphone. Did you test on iphone? because they had amongst the worst call quality in noisy conditions. Do they get even worse on android?

I got the Nothing Ear last year after watching one of your videos, and it didn't work out too well for me for some reason.
I have been using the Beats Sudio Buds+ per your videos, and they have been ok.
In the end, I had to download and use an app to conduct phone calls in noisy areas for my business.
The hunt for the perfect earbuds that cancel all noise is still on for me!
Oh wait, now that I'm checking the price for the Onebuds 3.....I have to try it!

i had similar issue. Nothing Ear 2 couldn't cancel my kids in the background when i was in a call. i was going to try Beats Studio Buds+ but for 169.99. I may as well go with Soundcore Liberty NC for 99.99. ATM hard to decide so just not buying anything LOL.

AirPods Pro sucks for phone calls! Got mine 2 years ago and I really regret buying them! They are good for listening to music, podcasts, filming videos, but for phone calls I always have to switch to my old earbuds with a cord because the AirPods Pro only picks up all the sounds around me and my voice is so extremely muffled. It's so annoying when I paid so much for them
cant agree no more, i enjoy airpods pro on everything except phone calls, my gf pissed off everytime when i call her with airpods, make me switch to wired earpods to call

Coming here as a mindblown longtime Sony WF user… I’m always getting complaints about phone call quality.. which is the ONLY complaint I have about the buds. Audio is amazing, NC is top notch, but as for someone who’s always on the go and making works related calls, it struggles…

I don't like earbuds that stick out of the ears because they don't fit my ears well (feel insecure with some activity) and because they look weird (we forgot how weird that was when the Apple earbuds first came out).
I thought the same especially the first gen Apple Airpods, that looks so ugly. I tried the better Airpods Pro 1 and 2 and my right ear doesn't fit secure enough. I had concerns at first with Oneplus Buds 3, 99€ for Earbuds that can't be good.
I'm a Galaxy Buds User since the first model now i switched to Oneplus Buds 3 and i love it, it feels secure in both ears, fantastic comfort, light and have nice sound, built and call quality. The price, case and battery is very nice too.

It is not possible to judge anything from this video. One would assume there would be a decent voice with the studio microphone, but even that sounds awfully muffled so the mix stinks. I'm listening through studio monitors and all voice in this video stands out as rather bad compared to most other content I view and listen to.
How come till now you didn't try huawei free buds pro 3. It has the best Mic quality ever till now. Please review it as soon as possible. As we trust in your review.

bro,,, seriously there is something wrong with your sony 1000xms unit ... i own them and I can confirm that the call quality is very good and I did not get any complains related to my voice or the background noise at all ... maybe the mic is not the best in the market but truly your mic quality is away from what I got from my pair
