We have been meaning to visit the Lonfon Wetland Centre for ages and finally we made it. It's not too far from where we live so we hopped on the train to Barnes and spent a good few hours there. We had a light lunch in the cafe which was tasty and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. We certainly recommend a visit, even in the autumn. We hope you enjoy this short video of some of the highlights.

Oh I loved this!!! If it weren't for the fact that's it's winter and a bit parky I would want to dive in and swim with the otter.......so wonderful to see. Thank you so much for taking us along!

What a fantastic place to visit! The amazing variety of water birds was so enjoyable to see. I do so adore otters, but we had 3 come visit our pond this autumn and they ate all of our fish and turtles. They essentially killed the wild pond and if we restock they will only return to empty it again. It truly is the circle of life, and I am not angry, but I am disappointed because we have fed and nurtured the pond life since moving to the countryside 2 and half years ago. It is what it is.
