This is Paul's impression of the event and the time that he and Gio were able to spend with Robert Pera at the Ubiquiti World Conference 2024 in Sydney on the 2nd May 2024.
Ubiquiti is at a stage where its portfolio is maturing. There is a drive towards long-term innovation backed by the assurance that there is also product longevity.
Watch out for new products coming in the Enterprise and Wireless 7 space, along with improved routing and firewalling capabilities!

Supply is always a challenge and right now more shipping costs, but I understand your point.

Ubiquiti could have a bright future if they got a marketing team, maybe some partnerships with Apple, Best Buy etc. So many people have never heard of them. Also the CEO is holding way too much ownership in the company and Wall Street doesn't want to touch this company because of that. They could also get into the NAS market and go after a lot of home kit devices for consumers. It's also a huge problem to release new products and have it sell out so you miss sales.

Are they going to address the fail rate of their products? In other word's the DOA issue

The first stage is working to make the 2 year warranty we see in other parts of the world on Ubiquiti products a standard. That I think may then have an impact on the fail rate, or the approach to how to reduce it.
