    I see no reason to buy Ubiquiti's expensive cables. Ethernet is a spec for a reason, any in-spec cable will work, and, it's honestly hard to find cables that aren't nowadays.

      Correct. They may have a place for some people and that was the idea of the video as we got asked a lot of questions about why would I buy them.

    I would call them underspeced. Just like Chinese flat cables. Manufacturers can print anything on a cable. But standard CAT6A 26AWG S/FTP patch cables are up to spec. I would not go with any thin or flat cable :) Wonder how hot they get if used with PoE++ at maximum length.

      That is a good point, but these max out at 8m, probably for that exact reason. These are only designed for short patching work really.

      Yep, but I reckon most people will realise it is not 15mm. I had made like 3 hours of videos by that time :D

      They may well be, but they are an option for some people
