My brother…first of all…let me apologize. I didn’t mean to go so hard on you. I thought you were some big rapper taking shots. I didn’t know the history…didn’t know you’re growing…I was just wondering why someone would come at Ren…who is ridiculously talented…and a great human, and tear him down. So, right off the bat, my bias was up, and I was mad that someone would do that.

Bro…I’m a professional audio engineer who works with A Listers semi regularly. I work with legends. I’ve recorded Eminem…Method Man…Snoop…just to name a FEW OG’s, my brother. I came from the Golden Age of hip hop…grew up with Tribe Called Quest, Mobb Deep, Bone Thugs etc. I’m saying this to let you know that I know what I’m talking about. When I mean change flow, I mean things like cadence. Triplets. Staccato type of rap…CHANGE the flow. Yes, speed too…but I really mean actual flow. Your cadence stayed the same almost the whole way. To someone who listens to as much DIFFERENT music as I do…I can’t listen to flows that don’t actually change. So yeah…while you’re partially right about the speed, I still meant things like cadence and rhythms. To me…nothing about that diss was fire. That word is thrown around WAY too easily. Props to you for doing this, and commenting…I appreciate it. And again, my apologies for going in so hard. I’m also going to do a reaction to your “Thank You” song as well. Now that I have more back story and info, I can be much more fair.

damn dotta. i tried to be like ren. ive been checking out your vids, giving nice comments on how youre improving, liking your stuff, i even dropped in on your live when you were making breakfast (from scratch, not that eggo shit). quit being aggressive. you can be a 'hard' rapper and just keep quiet. you dont have to throw shade at anyone who doesnt like your music. thats not going to fly in this community. you will not gain from it like you think. if this is how you handle criticism, then you wont go far, because theres always gonna be haters no matter what. Rens diss wasnt 'hard' at all. it was light bars, albeit funny. the reason people gravitate to him and like his diss more is because he was humble about it. he was being true to himself and true to us. he said hes not a battle rapper. if you dont like the hate, dont comment. just head back to the lab and SHOW youre better. dont tell us youre better

I haven’t seen him comment to other people…so I can’t talk to that…but he has every right to have said what he said to me. Now…we’ll see how he responds to my response to him. THAT will show his character.

@@musikbyjh ive seen it a lot. like i said, i tried to give him the time. your criticism was pretty mild from what ive seen other places. if you wanna see something better from dotta, check out 'E' on your own time. its a lot better with plenty of flow switches. he even gives props to ren at the end. not my type of music by any means. also, off topic, as a metal head i dont know if youve ever heard the band 'until we die' album 'before the decay of time' but its fire. ive heard it was a one man show, then he never released anything else. check it out and see what you think bro! im there if you think it deserves a reaction!

And nah, I haven’t heard of that band before! I’ll have to have Ninja check it out and see if I should do a reaction to it. I’m always open to some new metal. New anything really. I’ll listen to slayer, then put on Tori Amos…and Animals as Leaders, and then some Outkast. Lol. I’m all over the place.
BTW Dotta only had 800 subs before Ren diss'd him back, now Dotta is almost at 4000 subs. Ren is way too generous but that's why we love him. I personally think Dotta's recent heart felt release dedicated to Ren & his fan's "Thank You" was good, kind of reminiscent in style & flow to Tupac's "Dear Mama", but no where near Pac's talent in all honesty.
You can always count on ren to kill them with kindness. Hes so clever though, loved some of his disses 😂😂

It all started with Dotta dissing Knox because he thought Knox dissed him in the Killshot track, as far as I understood it. Dotta did more diss tracks for Knox cuz he didn't respond right away, he didn't mean to...but then changed his mind, it went too far, when he also mentioned Ren in there.
So...Knox dissed Dotta back and killed him, with two tracks. And then Ren did his magic as he does. I believe this is the very very short version of it all. As far as I managed to gather it watching different reactions and comments.
King Dotta is/was a nobody. Less than 1K subs before all this. My guess is he did all this for the views. And man did he score.
He's not my style, though, listened to a few songs but as you say, too boring. Plus don't appreciate his behavior to get the attention...and then turning it all around. Like it's all for the "culture". Nah, man.

Unfortunately though, I just can’t really do as Ren asks of us. Personally I just find Dotta’s monotone rapping boring AF. Maybe I’m just too spoiled by Ren’s constant flow changes and play with cadences? 😅 More than what my personal taste is like though, I just don’t think Dotta deserves the attention after how he went about all of this. I’m just not a fan of people going around spreading hate in comments and harassing reactors to get attention. And pulling the race card? Even if he was to claim it was all fake to provoke a battle in good fun, I just feel like there are better ways to do it. And yeah, maybe choose someone else to go after instead of Knox and Ren who are all about community and positivity. As Knox pointed out in his reaction to Ren’s diss, the RENegade is probably not the most likely group of fans to be into what Dotta is up to as we love how wholesome Ren is 😅

I'm not trying to give excuses for Dotta's diss, because I wasn't impressed with the lyricism at all, but the reason the sound mix was trash was because of the ground rules set by Ren & agreed to by Dotta. The rules were live 1 take recording no studio polish or engineering allowed. Just thought I'd mention it & let you know..
Wow. I had no ideas about this. After I did the reaction, I actually felt terrible for ripping Dotta up. I thought he was just another big rapper thinking he was good. After my reactions, I actually went to his page and saw he was tiny. I feel horrible. I still don’t like the flow at all…and to me, there was maybe 1 bar….but I never would have been SO critical had I known.

That’s why I feel bad. But, I joined in the game. I feel even dumber now knowing this whole thing was setup. That’s not how disses work. So…yeah, all around, this was whack for everyone except Dotta and Ren. Ren doesn’t need the views at this point…but of course it will still benefit him. Dotta, to me, isn’t worth the hype he gives himself. But hey, you gotta be confident in this business. So, I’ll let him be him, and I’ll just continue to listen to what I actually think is good.

Dotta was called on the phone by another reactor while the reactor was live streaming and had just finished his reaction to rens diss.
Dotta said he respected the hell put of ren and he thought his diss was fire. He also said ironically he had woken up that morning and eaten red velvet cake. Only for ren to randomly bring up dotta eating too much cake.
Yep, Ren murdered King Dotta then, classily, resuscitated him. He also bodied Michelle Show in to the bargain, but equally, in his Sick Boi album podcast on here a few days ago, he said he actually enjoys that show because he loves self deprecation, used to spending time with mates that rip the sh*t out of each other 24/7. Adding, he'd like to do an interview with Michelle!

I can tell you exactly how this started - Everyone thinks that Dotta came after Ren out of the blue but that's not what happened. Ren saw some nasty comments Dotta made about him and his music, so he did a little research on the guy and found he's been going after reactors and rappers for over a year. In his own words he decided to "poke the bear" knowing Dotta would go at him and he could out him in his place. After some back and forth Ren agreed if Dotta made a diss track he would answer. That's literally all it was. After Dottas diss he gained like a dozen subs. Ren said what he likes about Dotta's rapping is it reminded him of people he listened to growing up like Biggie and 50, that slow flow that's really not in style right now but that with more support he could get somewhere. Dotta went from just under 900 subs to almost 4,000 AFTER Ren released this. Dotta has really been blown away by the fan response and support he is getting. I think he's one of those people who doesn't get why we would support him just because Ren said to give him a shot. But also has really gotten positive on his youtube community. He said after he dropped his Knox diss response tracks that he was gonna be done with diss tracks unless someone calls him out. Dotta has said he definitely has respect for Ren as a rapper and a person now, and is showing him support back. Dotta also said he loved Rens track and laughed a lot. As for why we would go sub and support some random dude just cuz Ren said to, he has done that with a few other people and from those we know if Ren is asking it's because he legit sees something worthwhile in those people. If you haven't checked him out, Dirt Miller is one of them, he gained like 10k subs overnight. Kansas City really ahowcases his voice. Check him out, really unusual voice but very cool. Definitely not a professional but I think Dotta's biggest issues are technical. Equipment, all that production stuff. That and I told him I thought he needs to work on control of his breathing, I hope he takes that advice because he would sound so much better if he wasn't out of breath. Anyways, that's the Tale of Ren and Dotta lol

If Brian May and Roger Taylor can live with the fact that some people think “Bohemian Rhapsody” is boring, other artists can be too.
King Dotta dissed Knox, Knox Hil dropped not one but two tracks in a 24hr period against Dotta totally murdering Dotta (knox came up battling), Dotta seems to diss bigger rappers with a following for clout...he and Ren were talking in social media and they agreed to do this....seems like it was more for fun than anything.

Thank you! And yeah, I totally agree with you. I called him out on it and said it was a publicity stunt…and then he tried to deny it….although he literally said to me, that it was planned. So…either he’s not very bright and doesn’t know what “publicity” means…or….he’s just trying to act tough and think he’s cool. Either way…I was going to give him another chance at a reaction, but after his interactions and clearly arrogant and uneducated comments, he’s def not worth my time. And I definitely am not going to give him anymore views via this channel. He is in major need of some humility. Oh well…maybe one day he’ll learn some lessons.

Dotta just keeps taking shots at a lot of reactors in order to get his channel numbers us. I understand Dotta has had his channel for 6 years and achieved a whopping 3K subscribers. Great reaction thank you. REN is a Force of Nature and an unparalleled performance artist. #No Division.
The beef started between Knox Hill and Dotta because Dotta thought that Knox dissed him in one of his songs (which Knox denies). So Dotta dissed Knox in a track. Ren kinda baited Dotta into making diss tracks while waiting for Knox to respond (he writes about it in the Community tab on his page). Knox responded with two diss tracks 24 hours apart. Dotta made the Ren diss, Ren made this diss, and then Dotta made 2 or 3 more disses for Knox. Since that time Dotta has not made anymore diss tracks and has been releasing a bunch of new music on his channel. I think he's sincerely thankful for Ren sending his fans over. He had about 900 or so subscribers and now has 3.55K. This is my best recollection of the events, though I might have some details wrong. I can't really help you with what Dotta's best songs might be though. I subscribed but haven't really listened to much of his music yet.

I love the way Ren twisted it, and tried to give the guy the time, but Dotta's attitude is ridiculously braggadocios in a way that is both antagonistic and almost delusional, so I gave up on following anything he is doing. As a Brit I just find that aggressive overconfidence baffling. He isn't the only artist (or politician!) to have put me off like that.

You[re correct in a way. Here's how it all panned out. There was no beef between Ren and Dotta. This was arranged battle rap after friendly messages between Ren and KD.. Brief history, 😊 Dotta for the last year, or maybe before that? has been trying to goad other YT Rappers/reactors with high subs, into reacting to his challenges, just to try to grow his YT channel. Everyone ignored him. He dissed Knox Hill, about a month before Ren's diss came out. Knox new nothing about it until KD Dotta's dropped his arranged Ren diss. Knox wasn't going to respond to KD 1st diss. Trouble was, KD also dissed Knox in Ren's Diss, that' pissed off Knox, so he brought 2 diss tracks within 24hrs and buried Dotta. Again, this between Dotta and Ren' is not a beef, After messages back and forth. Ren agreed with Dotta to a battle rap, just for fun, and the sport of hip hip. Just like it used to be. Say the nastiest shit to each, and leave all hate on the mike. Ren set the rules. Just One diss track each. Done in one take, videoed live to prove that. (If you Check KD YT Channel you can see that live one take vid) Then post on YT let the people decide the winner. THE END. King Dotta' posted this reaction to Ren's diss. "That was Dope" He also said, I've trying to keep quiet for the last few weeks, until Ren's Diss me. But Ren's "Murderer" Track was Lit. (Fire) 😊 Ren is doing for Dotta, just like he's done for other You Tuber's, trying to help Dotta to grow his YT Channel. The line "I've just played you at your game, so welcome to mine, I want all my fans to show Dotta the Time" says it all. Ren's Giving King Dotta another chance to do it right. 😊
That's wrong knox knew about it immediately and chose to not respond then a month after dottas diss knox jumped in cuz he wants ren fans to notice his garbage music.
Knox's remix of "killshot" got this all started. Dotta felt he was called out. Knox claimed to be unaware of his existence.
Dottas "thank you" is worth a listen.

It's like a military drill sergeant ... break em down then earn their respect, then build them up. He gave Dotta a shot. And he did it his way while also leaving Dotta with no way to reply. How could you answer back to that. (Dotta was doing diss tracks for several rap/reactors. He was looking for some traction... he got it because Ren gave it to him when everyone else was just ignoring him).
King Dotta called out several. And MichelleShow egged him on about Knox Hill.

I think it was done to get Dotta's name out there, but not agreed on with all parties, good business strategy I guess.
Ren n Knox disses were fire, but Dotta's sound been done before and better (Check Sutter Kain out🔥). Got potential, and who knows might open some doors for him, I hope it does. He's creative, and courageous enough to put it out to the masses. Just gotta change it up. Gimme something new. I'll be watching to see where Dotta goes from here, both musically and popularity wise.
I subbed him though cos it's Ren who asked. For all the music Ren and his musical brothers and sisters have given us, and for Joe, the decision was easy.
Plus why not, he was brave enough to go up against Ren n Knox, was always going to be an annihilation though, but was entertaining for all of us.

Hi. There was no reason for Dotta to pick out Ren, it was clout chasing. But as always Ren killed and then revived Dotta. I did not follow as I don’t like his ethos. But he did do not a bad job of a thank you to Ren and his fans. saying he was going to change. I will wait to see. Keep an eye out. I will only follow if he becomes to tide to lift all boats like Ren. Great reaction from someone who can tell of the poor effort of Dottas diss to Ren. 😘😘❤️

Yeah see...this wasn't information I knew about going into this. And to be honest...had I known, I wouldn't even have reacted to it. I'd much rather have it be a known "battle" and brought out into the public, rather than trying to fool everyone. Then this would have been very different. But since that wasn't know at first, it feels whack that it was planned. And even though I'm down with Ren...I'm not fond that he went that route either, to be honest. Yeah, benefits y'all...but makes us (the fans who are helping to build both of your careers up) feel like fools. I'm not feelin' that. But I get it. Publicity stunt.

Dotta picked Ren out because of 2 reasons, 1/ He has 1 million subs and 2/ He is white so he can use the excuse that he doesn't belong as if being black and no talent somehow gets you a pass, above white rappers with talent. Love Eminem or hate him there is no argument that the dude has massive talent. Ren knows this and yet he still does it, it was a real cheap trick by Dotta but luckily Ren helped him out, others would not of. Knox was not so kind he absolutely destroyed him twice.
