Fun fact the ancient dragon was not suppose to beat by Shadow but the Royals or Midgard… but u guys saw how the royal power are in end of first season…. The poor mist dragon woulda wait forever n no one defeat until Shadow 😂
The way I see it, the mist dragon created by the advanced civilization from 1000 years back. They clearly had technology beyond modern day Earth, but Aurora caused a hard reset, with the Cult barely able to save some key tech. The known dragons are probably the result of an intermediary step in the research on otherworlder king's cells, which explains why Zeta and Eta met one in a research center during the Truth Seekers story, that was the baseline template they used for the gene therapy. Defeating a dragon requires you to overwhelm or neutralize their regeneration. Which is why Shadow back then could not kill it, and it didn't think bigger hammer theory was an option, but I AM ATOMIC can grant it final death.
@@Patrick-tg6wm But Aurora had to train to use her magic, she was taught by the Cult. Aurora is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable of how her magic works. Part of the problem is that the power granted overwhelmed how fast her control grew, they simply couldn't bioengineer the solution because magic overload promotes rapid mutations.

@@vikingandreanto6787 Actually he nuked the dragon in Truth Seekers using I Am Atomic, its dead and gone. It was also stated by the data in the research facility that the dragon there was a being from another world. Shadow couldn't kill them pre-timeskip, he can probably kill the mist dragon now.

Definitely wrong. It was stated in story that dragons are first rulers of world cid is on. Then came that situation that connected worlds and magic appeared in their world. Unlike mortal races dragons did not adapt to it so they were eventually sidelined

We have the Mist Dragon in Alexandria Forest. The Earth Dragon is the living in the coastal forest of a village in Vegalta, where Eta and Gamma searched for oil. The Water Dragon is shown once during the train scene of Cid and Rose, where it emerges from the pool.

Game english translation actually sucks. Like dragon said: "You are not ordinary human", and he answer not "Indeed I am", but "I am exactly just a human, but I am human far beyond your imagination"
The translation was fine. In the japanese he's saying the same thing. He denies the dragon's claim that he isn't an ordinary person and insist that he's ordinary far beyond what the dragon can imagine (works given how much he goes out of his way to be an ordinary person as Cid).
@@dotnet97 no he confirmed that he is "just a human", but then said "だが" (but) and said that: "he is far beyond..." If he just deny his statement entire meaning of his phrase would gone.
