I love this episode. I love at the beginning when Sam tells Darrin to calm down. Darrin's response was funny. "Samantha. You're not talking to a man, you're talking to a nerve ending and nerve endings can't calm down." Sam's response, "Have a little faith in me. I'm a witch, too." When Darrin said "I know.", Sam cut her eyes at him with a mother's determination.
Finally, the scene before the credits is adorable. Here Sam explains to Tabitha that she has to not use her witchcraft. That's like telling the Sun not to rise in the east. Tabitha wonders why her mortal grandparents can't fly is a hoot. Sam did the same in PLAYMATES. It didn't work. Sam tells Tabitha to get her shoes and she does, her way. 😀
I still can't get over how much Erin Murphy as Tabitha looked so much like Elizabeth Montgomery. Similar hair color and facial structure. Erin has blue eyes, Elizabeth had green.

Maudie Prickett appeared in 5 episodes of Bewitched. In addition to this teacher, Mrs. Burch, she portrayed another of Tabitha's teachers named Mrs. Peabody in 2 episodes, and Mrs. Farley in a Salem episode. Her first appearance was in the "Porpoise Milk" episode where she played "Woman on the Street" who wore a hat with the feather Darrin needed for Clara's spell.

She could have used that voice to have voiced a nagging wife to a henpecked husband in cartoons.

My mother has put me on to so many classics that I realized that the young actress who played Amy also acted in the original Yours, Mine and Ours.
Unlike the other child "actors" in the nursery, who were probably three and four, Maralee Foster who played Amy had just turned SEVEN (b. Sept. 19, 1961) about a week before she filmed this episode! That is why she's much bigger than the rest of the kids.
