The STI 2011 is a handgun, along with both SIG 1911's shown, and is classed as a Restricted Firearm. As such, it requires a RPAL to possess and in addition to being registered in a federal database, has additional storage, transport, sale, and discharge restrictions. The Rob Arm XCR-L bonus gun shown was non restricted as it has a 18.6" barrel.

But The 1911 . 45 ACP did save Private Ryan.
If Ryan had a Combat Master he wouldn't need to be saved :)
Wick used a Kimber in .45 and Wick DESTROYED with that gun.
.45acp is better than 9mm, but 18 rounds of 9mm is better than 8 .45

@@420skymiles oh here we go with the “45 vs 9mm” debate. I wouldn’t say either is “better” depends on application. Better follow up shots with 9mm due to less recoil. which could equate to a faster/safer resolved self defense scenario? 45 has better “knock down power” but …. I think shot placement is more important anyways. Apples and oranges

What sti 2011 model is used to make this final product?
So I got to fire one of these. The slide is like silk, however after firing it it felt that the slide action felt too delayed. I only fired a few rounds, but don't know how feel about the firearm over all. Trigger very crisp.

Best 2011 I have owned, bought one for the range and one for the collection. This is the purchase you will never regret.
Also watch out not to let oil get under the front sight, one of mine came loose after few hundred rnds, apparently it's common issue with these fittings.

No island barrel? The one Taran introduced and reviewed as the John Wick gun on his channel had an island barrel...quite confusing
does anyone consistently shoot 9 major out of this gun? I called STI they said it was "meant" to shoot standard 9mm... Taran says it was built for 9 Major that isn't was STI claims.. I was told 9 major is going to crack the slide and the spring needs to be replaced to prevent slide crack when shooting 9 major

2011s are the best 3-gun handguns for a reason. 46 ounces with a less than 2 pound trigger pull. Perfect for shredding, plus with the Combat Master variation, you get Taran Butlers experience put into the firearm.

How did u get that 22 round mag in canada ? Doesnt look pinned to 10 rounds.
Use a block inside the mag and pin it near the bottom. Keeps that rivet away from the gun to prevent damage.
It's a much cleaner pin than the usual cheap style

@@monkeeatsbanana7397 yeah I had a 1911 they suck. The 2011s are usually a lot more reliable I’ve heard. Definitely can’t afford one so I can’t speak from experience. And a press check is just to see if the gun is loaded if the round wasn’t seated the slide wouldn’t lock forward all the way. That was my issue with the 1911 the slide would never lock forward

@@themagnificent9296 I do know it’s 20 or 21, which isn’t a problem since I won’t have anywhere near that much spare money at that time. Will limit myself to decent and cheaper guns until I got stable economy, housing and so on. If my economy allows it I will be looking into a barrett and probably some high end or custom guns whenever I can comfortably spend that much on my hobby. After all it’s something you don’t really need.

My only gripe is the the grips these fish scale grips are so overplayed in the 2011 world and honestly they look cheap to me. To each their own but if I was spending 4k on a pistol I'd want perfection haha

Didn't John Wick in the movie use the Glock variant of this gun though?
John Wick used different variation of handgun thorought the film.
Glock was the handgun he was recommended to by the Sommelier working in Continental Rome branch. Both the Glock 34 and 26 was highly recommended by the Sommelier, even him saying to Wick's "Past fondness for the German Varietals" before recommending the Austrian varietals, referring to the German-made Heckler and Koch P30L handgun he used in the first movie. The third movie was the gun that Charon highly recommends to Wick due to its major improved ballistic and armor piercing performance to combat the High Table enforces, which is the TTI Combat Master STI2011 as this video showcased.
Except taran tactical didn’t do anything to the gun. It was his slide design and STI manufactured them.

That gun is almost 4 grand no thanks buddy its cool looks great and i bet it shoots like a dream ...but Glocks are good and Czs are a dream to shoot and my favorite gun i have a CZ P10F and i easily hit head shots at the range at 75 feet and it holds 20 and i paid 700 bucks for it .... like I said the gun is great but for that price point just not worth it I could buy two CZ and 3 M&P Sport 2 AR-15 for the price of that one gun...
Taran tactical is a bit of a gucci brand, their stuff is great but over priced due to brand recognition. They have the john wick lightweight AR15 for like 2 grand without optics but if you surf around for parts can build it for less than half, this gun isnt much different.
To pull the slide with one hand means weak spring, then weak spring also means failure to feed. Btw, it's only my IMO, forget it.
