What if the netting is pos/neg can you lay it against the existing net, like pos net or not?

Excellent question, if Pos/Neg, have a gap between the nets to prevent any conductors of opposite polarity from touching one another.

I tried to find this video. Can you make a video on how to de-energise the bottom string for grass. I saw it mentioned but I'm not sure how to do it. I also assume I can always repair it if I wanted to.

You can, but we don't recommend it. Might need the extra section for the next fence line.
