Where do the brass ferals come from? It looks like he were able to clamp that on after you tied the strands together
Ferrules are included in the repair kit that comes with each roll of netting. Otherwise they are available individually on our website www.premier1supplies.com.
Love my gate. Makes it easier to get into the fenced area. And not have my escape rooster out into a vulnerable area were there are predators waiting in the woods.
Does the nipple freeze shut in the cold though?
We have not had this issue. The nipple is just above the heating element to keep things from freezing.
Why isn't there any information on cutting a hole in a wall for this installation? For example, what is the rough opening and does it need reinforcement behind the rails? Should there be any amount of the wall extending past the rails...or the top and bottom of the door?? Nothing is in the package and nothing in these videos. 😢
The rough opening needs to be smaller than the door, which measures: 15.75"H x 11.8"W. The rails mount to the wall via screws, you'll need plywood or boards there to support them. Wall extension at base and top of door is up to your discretion.
We purchased premier fencing - 100 feet. We need an energizer to attach to the fencing. We had a Zareba solar energizer but a piece of paper that came with the fencing said to not use DC due to fire risk. I had never heard this. Which solar energizer is recommended for 100 feet of premier fencing?

Where does one aquire a replacement battery?⚡️
We carry batteries or your local battery shop should have one.
@@premier1supplies I LOVE my Premier 1 electric net fence and solar intellishock charger. I live off grid and that fence keeps goats, horse, llama and sheep out of my garden. Thank you for such a great product!
When plugged into 110 to charge, the charging light on the 110 V charger blinks red/green. I can not find information on what those lights indicate. Thanks for the help.
It's charging. Please call 1-800-282-6631 if you have further questions.
Big help
I love my PremierOne Poultry fence that we put up around our garden. No more night raiders eating everything before we get any. LOL
How about raccoon and such?
We have designs for deterring raccoons.
Can one repair..broken squares on the bottom. Edge.. ? Just tie it together?
Yes, bottom strands can be tied together. Use the supplied cordage from the included repair kit.
What about the horizontal plastic supports or dividers, whatever they're called? We have several of those plastic pieces that have broken resulting in sagging of the wires.
We have these-www.premier1supplies.com/p/litzclip-vertical-struts-connectors?criteria=litzclip%5B
Can you use the fence tester you supplied during purchase for step one?
Yes.
Hot shock 5 is flashing red but used to flash green. What would cause it to flash red?
Give us a call at 1-800-282-6631 and we'll get things figured out.
There are two black, round, foam pieces that come inside the box where the battery is stored. Where do these go? I don't see it addressed in the manual.
There are two indentations underneath the lid where those fit. They act as cushion between the lid and battery.
@@premier1supplies oh nice, thank you for letting me know!
I see grass touching the bottom of the net. Is that not going to be an issue?
The bottom strand of netting is not electrified. We recommend mowing or trampling the grass prior to installation. If grass contact is likely to occur, use a large enough energizer that can power through the grass contact and provide a large enough pulse at the end of the fence line.
One change to the design since this was recorded is that the valve stem isn’t molded into the bucket. It’s another little plastic threaded part that needs to be installed first. Using this video and the printed instructions, I assembled it, took it apart and carefully assembled it again. The triangle piece and the flow control valve kept falling out each time I tried to put on the base. The plastic threads didn’t want to go together smoothly. Waterer went from leaking very badly to leaking only a little bit. It was cheaper than other options so I was hoping I had a winner. Too bad :( Appreciate you trying to help with this video tho!
We have filmed for the new design but have yet to upload. If you're having leaking issues, give us a call at 1-800-282-6631 and we'll work to make it right.
Is there a trick to disassemble? I made a mistake on the first one bc i didnt see the instructions at the bottom of the box.
Inserting a screwdriver into the slots and carefully prying. Call us at 1-800-282-6631 for assistance.
These work amazingly well for our bottle babies❤
Cool, I'm always wondered why my sheep keep escaping.....I had wire over the metal part and not thru the plastic... Now I gotta go out n get the fence done first thing tomorrow morning
I'm considering buying this or the Solar Stop 80. Does this unit automatically switch to a low power mode without using a switch? Is the solar panel of this one more powerful?
The solar stop 80 does not automatically switch. Both have 10 watt panels.
Does the Intellishock 100 automatically switch to save power?
IntelliShock® electric fence chargers are able to reduce energy demand when the fence’s voltage is high-due to fewer weeds touching the fence. This occurs in fall and winter for most fences, and occurs all year for some horse, cattle and deer fences. As a result, the unit’s battery is more likely to remain charged through the low sunlight days of autumn and winter. www.premier1supplies.com/p/intellishock-100-solar-fence-energizer
How many fences can I attach to this unit ?? Also which is the best unit for lot of fences and can charge both ac and dc
Hello! How many chicks do You think can comfortably fit in here and for how long? 😊
Day-old chicks we've kept about 30 in it. But we would run out of space by week 5-6. If want to keep them indoors for that long, I wouldn't go much higher than 5/6 at that many weeks. Details can be found on our website-www.premier1supplies.com/p/quikclean-chick-brooder
*Why not a make circuit closed without ground ?*
You want an animal to feel a shock when they touch the fence rather than passing them by. By making them part of the pathway to the ground, they receive a shock.
After posting this comment I got an immediate phone call from Premier One supply company. I had been working for the most part with a representative, from the lac-tek company for at least a year and a half. What I want to say now is once premier knew of the problems that we were having they really took care of it. We cannot be more pleased with the service we got from Premier One.
Thank you for clarifying your previous comment.
These machines are worthless. We had an older machine we use for about three years when we brought two more smaller ones from premier. We have work with a technician at Lex-Tex since we bought them. They have other customers having same problems we are and now say it the computer board which they can’t get from China. We have lost lambs due to these issues and money in nibbles as lambs chew them off when they run out of milk. The amount of money lost is probably more than the cost of the machines. We are done with this company and plan to either negotiate a settlement or take to court. The ball will be in their court.
What do you do when it leaks badly?!?!?
You may need to replace the washer, or depending on the teat, add a second washer. Give us a call at 1-800-282-6631 and we'll help you troubleshoot.
How are you not left with a lot of milk in the bottom? The holes are an inch from the bottom.
@@shermdog6969 The bucket teat unit has a pick up that you face downward to draw the milk into the valve. Further details can be found here-www.premier1supplies.com/p/bucket-teat-unit?criteria=bucket+teat+units

Thank you. I have two nets to take down, 164’ double spike each and it was whooping me. Haha.
I highly recommend that anyone handling these fences use leather gloves. The small wires woven in have a tendency to break and expose needle-sharp ends.
I have no light at all.

Very nice sound.
Might consider this,
How long should it take an IntelliShock 60 battery to charge via a 110V outlet?
It depends on how far the battery is. Some may simply need to go overnight, while others will need a day and a half.
I checked my battery with a volt meter and it read 12.3V. I read it with the Fence/Battery Testers and it reads Hi...!??
Call 800-282-6631 with any questions.

Must you use a ground rod? My area is very rocky and getting anything deeper than 4 inches is impossible. Can I just hook to the neg fencer terminal?
For a Pos/Neg capable fence, that works. We still like to use the ground rod in the event an animal touches only a positive strand, they can still a receive a shock if a ground rod is used.
