OBI-WAN DR650 master and all-around good dude!! New gas tank definitely not as pretty as the stock bluish/purple gas tank, but it's a much better bike now.

Last year on the Tenere crossing the USA it was a royal pain to only have 4 gallons. Chances of dropping it with a full 6 gallons is rare. The total weight difference I heard is really only 7 pounds due to the weight savings of a plastic tank. Thank you.
I know someone that has that tank on their T7, and they swear it lowered the center of gravity. (Not as top heavy). Will be interested to hear if you think the same.

That looks great. 6 gallons is a lot to pick up tho. The 1090 has 6.6. I have get my Schwarzenegger on to pick it up.

I'm surprised that Acerbis doesn't mold in gallon or liter marks. The tank looks good and won't it be nice to have the added range?

That would be great if it does. I’m going to fill it tomorrow after it’s sat for a few days with no leaks or drips. I’ll keep you posted for sure.
300 mile range with the 6 gallon?
I’m thinking 250 miles. I’m going to do a ride with a gas can and see how far the range is.
@@verbalwidget7267 I’m torn between the T7 and Super Ten. I do mostly highway and side road cruising so ST makes more sense.
@@americandude3825 agree, a super T makes more sense and cheaper too.
