as a heavy equipment operator, the dozer, as simple as it looks, was the hardest to learn. its not just plow, plow, plow. there's a lot of adjustment and eye training.
True. But it’s easy asf to drive. I think the most technical one is the excavator or finish dozer

I think the big dozers are easier personally I had a lot easier time learning to make a smooth efficient push on an 8 than a 4 or 5. I'm not sure why. After getting used to building road with an 8 or 9 going back to a 5 feels like you might as well just use a spade shovel haha

I get to operate a d11t 6 months a year and the power these things have is amazing the turbo noises they make when u have a full blade is just sensational

I've ran some that were better. Terex and Komatsu. Caterpillar is just a name like Carhart or ford. It can always be replaced.
@@jimmychanbers2424 Except you dont see many old terex or komatsus around after they get a few years on em, the older cats are still pushing. Once you get a few thousand hours on these machines is where cat stands above the rest easily. Plus the others do not have the support cat offers, while john deere recently is trying to improve this, they seem like the only other manufacture to do so.
