Im sorry but the questions the news person asks are justfor the drama effect….she shows no real empathy in my opinion….asking if its harder that her house was destroyed because she raised her family there???! seriously….? It is comforting to know that good people come from all over to help when their fellow man needs a hand up! I wish everyone knew that helping those who have been knocked down is not encouraging them to stay down, but helping them back on their feet. Yes, I mean this about everyone who has been knocked down.

Thankfully they both survived & are unharmed. I'm very sorry about the buildings. Hopefully they can save things before any rain returns.💔
How friggin scary. I lived in Kansas 3 stormy years....I did chef work and security work in a big mall. Really scary putting folks in the hallways during tornado sirens😢 spooky. Sad to lose your precious home later in life!💔

Its so hard to go threw this Im in Ohio we had one a couple months ago lost everything leveled our garage our barn shed and back half of our house its so overwhelming I can so much feel her pain i cried as I watched all the things you worked for and had in your life are gone we will rebuild it takes many steps for insurance and the waiting is terrible you live in a rental or with family to this day we go to our property still picking up pices of debris from the ground no one can possibly imagine what its like till you go threw one my husband and I and the hid in a closet and when we come out alive we was lucky hang in there many will help from many states everything is in steps Ill pray for all who is in this crazy weather stay strong we will all rebuild some how some way we are alive God Bless you all
When I was visiting a friend in Illinois one summer the tornado alarms went off. I'm from PA and had never heard the alarms before and I was TERRIFIED. I hauled ass into my friend's basement and huddled in a corner for about a half hour. When nobody else joined me, I went upstairs and everyone was either just watching the news or outside sitting in lawnchairs and looking at the sky. I couldn't believe they weren't scared but my friend just said, "Oh those alarms go off all the time, it's no big deal." Well it was a big deal for the woman in this video! Now I know the newscaster showed on the doppler that Barnsdall was going to be directly hit and all but I feel like people should take cover when the alarms go off too. Tornado's seem to touch down and go wherever they choose. I don't know how people can live in tornado alley. I'd be having panic attacks 24/7. Those alarms are also super eerie to hear. Nope nope. No thanks.

People try to shelter in them flimsy built things roll over and collapse with everything land on top of them! Furniture. Appliances. Them roll or picked up in a tornado, everything inside tumbling around with you in it. That's rs why people killed is usually found was in a mobile wrecked .
