    ZFG is always a highlight during GDQ. dude practically does GDQ on stream every day, so it’s like he’s always practicing. feels so natural, even though OoT is extremely technical.

    28:59 coolest trick ive ever seen in a speedrun

  • @adamd0ggg2
    @adamd0ggg2 Před 4 lety +663

    I swear some these Zelda glitches involve so much memory manipulation and precision that one day a speed runner will prove Ocarina of Time is Turing complete. Then another speed runner will program Ocarina of Time in Ocarina of Time.

    • @stickfigure42
      @stickfigure42 Před 4 lety +77

      This already proves that it's Turing complete, at least to the extent that you can claim that about an N64. Arbitrary code execution means *arbitrary*.

    • @bouboulroz
      @bouboulroz Před 4 lety +29

      I mean, shouldn't the fact that they managed to code a picture that wasn't initially present in the game already be proof of that ?

    • @ichicoro
      @ichicoro Před 4 lety +22

      I mean, there's ACE. That pretty much makes it turing complete lol

    • @jmarvins
      @jmarvins Před 4 lety +20

      In fact it IS Turing Complete: we already have ACE on the n64 version, by multiple methods of input, so you can code anything in OOT given enough precision now.
