Also I completely get you about the hair, I had long hair down to my waist and I recently finally cut it because it was just way too much and kept getting in my way (and I contemplate on a daily basis just going bald tbh). I'm so glad you're enjoying East of Eden, it's a truly wonderful book that both destroyed me and healed me. An amazing vlog once again, they will always continue to be my favourite type of video 🥰

It's very nice for you to feel like taking time with each story that's just the best way to read any book. Just let it flow in your current life stage. If you feel like talking about every single book of that month in the wrap up video, you could do a "Started this month" section where you can talk about what you're feeling so far reading the unfinished book.

I watched " A sign of affection " anime ongoing and that was really heartwarming and sweet. Then I switched to manga and my goodness, It was even better than the anime. I'm really happy about that and I encourage you to start reading it as soon as possible. It is extremely beautiful, relaxing and comfortable.

Ngl I feel you on the going bald part. My hair has not been ✨️hairing✨️ since august, and I have short hair and heavy curls, so I feel like it's really hard to get the perfect haircut and maintain the satisfaction of one 😭
+ Small things I love and make me feel alive:
-Listening to my dog's little noises and snoring as I quietly read a book or watch one of your vlogs (current situation🥹)
-Finding a series I love and becoming so hyperfixated on it that it becomes my entire personality for a while.
-Feeling the weight of my dog as she sleeps against my side.
-The smell of a forest after rain.

I totally went from long hair about your length to buzzcut..... I loved it and it was really serving and I did it randonly before Doja or any other celebs so it was weirdly good timing pop culturally speaking, but growing it out is never ending.. I ended up buzzing it again after like 8 months of growth and am still growing it out to this day...0.0

I recommend Lovely Complex! I’ve no idea if it’s similar to A sign of affection because I haven’t seen it, but Lovely Complex is one of my all time faves. Kaichou wa maid sama and Ouran high school host club are great ones too, they all have a lot of have comedy in them too

This video came just at the right time I swear! And omg pleaseeeee if you haven't already, watch Fruits Basket. It's one of my all time favorite manga and anime. It's also complete so you can just binge it! This anime is gonna tear you apart and then glue you back together and then tear you apart again. And don't even get me started on the music! *internal fangirling* There aren't many shows that I love as much as I love Fruits Basket

I have long hair and have for a couple decades now. I've been trimming my own bangs for about 10 years and just a couple years ago I started cutting my own hair as well. I do what's called a "wolf cut".. basically a shag but not quite as intense since I keep most of the length. I do the 4 ponytail method, learned how to do from YT videos.. one channel in particular.
It's the FIRST TIME in my life that I have ever gotten exactly what I wanted. I will never again torture myself by sitting in a salon chair... why pay $60+ for a cut just to sit there and talk about myself to a stranger (excuse me.. can I read??) and still not get what I want even though I bring several photo examples. Also I am very sensitive to touch and I don't like other people touching me and yanking on my hair and scratching the s*!+ out of my scalp. *tip: it's a lot easier to do if you have two mirrors so you can also see the back of your head while you're doing it.
that's SO true, hair salons are SO overpriced and 9 times out of 10 you don't even come out with how you wanted your hair to look like 😭😭 thank you so much for your tips!!

If we are sharing reading an absurd amount of manga volumes (I measure in volumes, not chapters), Im just about to finish hunter xhunter in 3 days, day one was 7 volumes read, 7 and a half ( only bc vol 33 is so text heavy) and today is going to be the rest of vol 33 to 37, (4 and a half volumes but those are all text heavy ones so it's it's challenge anyway) the last one published here, so all the chimera ants arc up to the one now. The goal was actually only the chimera ants but I couldn't resist just finishing it all 😅❤
