I understand wanting to get it right first time, but we learn so much by ‘messing up’. Finding the right set up for you is trial and error. It’s also pretty low stakes in the grand scheme of things. Learn to accept that you’re not gonna get it right every time and even enjoy the mistakes as they can be used as a learning tool. You are doing amazingly well. Finally, once you learn how to do all that, teach me how to take my own advice 😂

Once you start reading the throne of glass series you can't stop! It may be scary at first but they are written in a way that will make you fly through them!

I have the same embosser and I actually do it after I’ve read the book so it’s like a little reward and it’s easier to tell which ones I have and haven’t read

Not to encourage you to break your book buying ban, but Brandon Sanderson writes some amazing fantasy and sci-fi books. Mistborn is such an excellent read for anybody, not just fantasy lovers. Highly, highly recommend it! Love the book obsession! My fiance has had to deal with me bringing hoke over 300 books! So fun

I need to redo my bookcases but my best friend just sent me a tiktok of the Waterstones in Piccadily having a huge sale on damaged books until the end of January (and we'll be nearby there on the 24th) so I'm torn between waiting to reorganise my shelves and break my book buying ban, and just reorganising them now to put in my new books from last months haul. 😅
