Don't forget that he has been in Kaiju form for probably 6 months by now. He took 3 months to control changing back and forth before the second part of the Defense Force test. I figure they trained as a platoon for around 3 months before taking on the giant shroom spider. I think it took time for him to just adjust to the changes in his body, and like Sour said, I think his power is somewhat like Spawn. He is wrapped in Kaiju kinda like an exoskeleton because he still had fractures and injuries he received as a human after the second test was over (leg and ribs were still broken). So I think he is just finding out how to power up by imagining how to do something and forcing the kaiju suit to give him the results.
Thanks for the insight! Yeah it makes sense that he just needed time to adjust to the Kaiju form. The way you put it for how he controls his powers (if that’s how) kinda sounds similar to how the Defense Force suits work 🤔
I’m also just used to seeing animes have those training arcs where the protagonists go through trial and error with some new power before getting really good lol so that’s what I was expecting to happen. Not that it’s bad! Just came in with different expectations
@@SxSReacts Yeah, I understand. He did go through a training arc, but sadly he just went from 0 to 1 (without the kaiju factor). He doesn't seem to be able to really test his Kaiju abilities because he is wanted and also his power is close to a huge missile. If he used too much power or tested a finishing move, he could probably blow up the entire city. I agree that his powers work like the kaiju suit. How ever, his is much more advanced since it is actually a part of him now. Its almost like the kaiju factor was learning how he thinks. Also, I think him learning to surpress the kaiju factor in his body is why he started out at 0% with the DF suit. He had to actively surpress the Kaiju cells so he wouldn't physically change. Just something to think about.
Hahahhahha i cant wait for the next season and season 2. Thats will be many more a very cool person introduced. Especially people who are genius one.

It’s weird to me that the humanoid kaiju is named Kaiju No. 9. To me, logically, that giant one they defeated earlier should have been Kaiju No. 9, and this humanoid one is Kaiju No. 10. Or are they retroactively naming him Kaiju No. 9 because he actually appeared first (though only Kikoru and Kafka saw it) and the giant one that Mina killed is Kaiju No. 10?
The giant one is weak compared to number 9...the big one is just big... Numbered kaiju are fortitude 7 and up
@@glintongordon6811 The giant one was weak? Well, yes, probably compared to the humanoid one, but what about the ones that came before (Numbers 7, 6, etc.)? Were they that strong? Did they gauge what the giant one’s Fortitude was? Also, if the giant one was weak, why did they need everyone to fight it, and Mina having to power up to her full 96% or 98% (if that’s her limit… and I forget her actual number). I thought it was pretty strong, and if Kafka hadn’t given them the info about its organs, then it could have been very difficult to defeat.
@@wrexgrafix84 giving you this information is somewhat of a spoiler, but the sensors across the world detect the power of kaiju, and yes, kaiju no 6 is still the most powerful kaiju to ever exist it killed people more power than Mina. The weapon they made out of is so powerful they have been searching for someone capable of using it for years... The others are there to direct it to the best place for Mina to kill it and help with killing the small fry

About the release, high power output soldiers like mina and hoshina have limiter to avoid them accdentally hurt allies or unnecessary destroys too much things in combat. Because 90%+ release basically means they are as destructive as kaiju.
When they got permission to release the limiter(release combat power), they release them all. Like when Mina shoot the giant mushroom
Him casually using his power like he’s had it since birth is low key annoying ,it’s a classic shonen trope but I do like your explanation though
